Responsibilities:
• Direct and manage the operations of the Maintenance Department with the responsibility of over 250 Fuel Stations in the company including all facilities inside the stations (Fuel system - storage tanks. etc.)
• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them; monitor and control the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems and surveys.
• Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in the facilities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs, etc.
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance-related work through a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors, ensuring that all maintenance operations are done in accordance with the company policy.
• Manage budget, forecast, order and negotiate prices for spare parts inventory, and manage the maintenance expenses by ensuring best practices in the industry. Create and implement maintenance procedures.
• Establish, develop and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Inform repair technicians of time allowances on each repair order, maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks; conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
• Review the contract agreement, and evaluate and monitor the service to ensure strict compliance with SLA parameters.
• Ensure that customers' service files are up-to-date and readily available for reference.
• Monitor team performance and ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
• Chiefly accountable to handle maintenance and repairing of equipment, both in the shop and at the project sites.
• Developed preventive maintenance program, monitored the preventative maintenance schedule on equipment and ensured the maintenance shop is properly maintained, functional and clean.
• Developed departmental budget and monitored related financial activities including budget allocation, expenditures and fund balance to ensure that allocation is accurate, revenues are recorded and departmental budget is adhered to.
• Led the site maintenance function in providing both, reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
• Rendered support on the job projects including identifying all sources of equipment maintenance, fueling, repair and spare parts.
• Optimized equipment according to standard procedures, enhancing performance and product quality and ensuring the achievement of all key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Participated in the equipment evaluation process in order to determine buy/sell needs; purchased and sold new and used equipment as directed by Management.
• Coordinated with the procurement department to ensure adequate stock of the maintenance items/lubricants to the respective regional stores on time in order to make the preventive maintenance effective.
• Monitored, reviewed, analyzed and ensured prompt resolution of all complaints regarding the repair and maintenance service and ensured appropriate action is taken.
• Managed, coached and developed a high-performing maintenance team to meet agreed objectives and deliver best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
• Guided the team on technical best practices and established standard policies & procedures for the department.
• Monitored and ensured the preventive maintenance plan is implemented for all machines.
