I was responsible of all products exported from Egypt, and other related or un-related Businesses - Directly reporting to Egypt’s GM (Japanese) as well as The Headquarter at Tokyo and/or other countries in the following various businesses:

1- Export Business from Egypt:

I was responsible and managing the complete process since revising/negotiating the contract and other related documents (PO, LC, Lay can … etc.) discussing them with all involved parties - Exporting very special commodities as follows:

• Minerals: (Bulk Shipments) mainly RPR “Reactive Phosphate Rocks” to New Zealand - Also another mineral “Ilmenite” to Japan. Was dealing with Public Egyptian Companies and other Governmental Authorities related to this very special business, such as Ports and Railway Authorities, Shipping and Logistics agents, international chemical labs, other indirect authorities such as the tourism and police departments.

• Long and extra long staple cotton: To Japan and Taiwan

2- Business Development Management:

• Automotive Business:

I was fully responsible of "Mazda" business in Egypt, succeeded to re establish its business through the market leader "GB Auto"

• QIZ Protocol:

I worked closely with Egyptian Government such as; Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Trade & Industry, as well as Foreign investors from China and Thailand to invest in the textiles business under the QIZ Protocol - Was engaged in all details including meetings, site visits to existing factories either at free zones or private free zones in different territories in Egypt, also visited lands for long-term leasing contracts.

• PPP (Public Private Partnership) & Industrial Parks/Zones Developers:

I was working closely with Government such as; Ministry of Trade & Industry, and its major related authority “IDA” as well as top business men in Egypt - I was responsible of engaging all parties for a VIP meetings with the hugest Industrial and Developers of Industrial Parks worldwide (Sumitomo was the top developer) as well as other huge companies such as Mitsubishi, Mitsui, and visited the most popular industrial parks at Japan and Vietnam, as a model to have a PPP agreement with such huge developers and implement such experiences in Egypt.

• Other businesses in the fields of; Rubber fenders (for vessels at ports), long/medium staple cotton (mainly used for towels production), vehicles gas cylinders, special heat coatings for industrial/residents roofs, commercial air cooling systems and other businesses.
All the above were through huge companies considered either a Sumitomo sister company manufacturer or Sumitomo is a major shareholder.
