- Provide technical support to refinery utilities team plant monitoring of Boilers, boiler feed water treatment, Compressed Air system, Reverse Osmosis plant and Cooling Towers.
• Lead role as Sr. Process Engineer in developing scope, feasibility study, Front End
Engineering Design (FEED), basic design and engineering for 100 CMPH Reverse
Osmosis plant for boiler feed water, costs 300 Million PKR.
• Provide technical support during MOC and conduct hydraulics, line sizing, pumps
selection and process improvement modifications and suggestions as per API codes
and standards
• Ensure all legal requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state
health and safety regulations are met

• Provide technical support to operations during MOC and perform hydraulics, line
sizing and advise suggestions for process improvement as per API standards
• Perform Process simulation of Distillation for process improvement and
productivity
• Analyze production metrics and data to determine areas to improve
• Simulation of crude tower for various crude blend change to maximize productivity

• Lead role as Sr. Process Engineer in Front End Engineering Design (FEED), feasibility, detail design and engineering of refinery projects
• Developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Pre-commissioning, commissioning / start-up, shutdown and trouble shootings phases.
• Hydraulics study, line sizing, pumps selection and various project modification assistance

• Develop Block diagrams, PFD and P&ID development
• Hydraulic calculations for line sizing, Pumps selection
• HAZOP and PSSR
• Aspen Hysys, Pro-II

• Monitor and control of all process parameters to ensure safe and smooth operation of
the plants
• Optimize processes by critically emphasizing on Material Balance of Crude/ Vacuum
distillation, Naphtha Hydro-treater, Merox and Catalytic Reforming Units
• Lead maintenance jobs like heat exchanger cleaning and inspection, furnace pig
decoking, pumps and compressors overhauling, process lines and vessels cleaning
during plant turn around
• Lead plant startup, shutdown and turn around activities
• Team Lead during Platforming Catalyst Regeneration under guidance of UOP
consultant, in July 2011.

• Worked as Production Engineer in Polymer Production Unit
• Monitoring of Plant parameters for optimize plant operations
