I’m working as Sr. Sales Engineer - Acoustics and responsible for the generation of business from Ducts & Accessories, especially Acoustics Products. Leminar is the licensed manufacturer of Galloway Acoustics - U.K with their specialized product range of Sound attenuators, Acoustic Louvers and weather louvers. With good experience and technical background in Acoustics, I’m responsible to explore the market for leads in the MEP Sector and Power Generation Industry and convert them into order booking.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Explore market in the construction sector and meet MEP clients to generate leads in Acoustics.
o Achieve yearly laid down sales target and order booking.
o Undertake Acoustics calculations if required.
o Strategize path to convert leads and enquiries to order booking
o Meet and develop rapport with client and arrange factory visits.
o Undertake market analysis of competitor product for both commercial and technical comparison
o Attending client meetings, as and when required.
o Closing deals in terms of technical as well as commercial point of view.
o Generate new customers and clients for the company.
o Attend meetings with Consultants to clarify the technical queries regarding Acoustics calculation and attenuator selection
o Meeting clients and consultant to get product approval by presenting the technical aspects of the job.
o Develop sales leads for other departments on ongoing ventures.
o Site visits and coordination for ongoing projects.
JOB PURPOSE:
I started my career here as Design and Estimation Engineer and was later promoted to the position of Project Engineer. As a Project Engineer, I have experience of handling various government and semi government Projects for fuel handling systems and Generator noise attenuation projects. I have good expertise in acoustic design calculations and have hands on experience of designing Noise reduction systems and Acoustic Enclosures for various projects. Currently working as Sales Engineer for power system, I have good exposure to current sales and market situation. I also have hands on experience to attending client meeting and finalizing and closing deals in terms of technical as well as commercial point of view.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Generate Enquiries from various ongoing Commercial Projects.
o Sales marketing to potential clients and contractors from ongoing projects.
o Meet Annual Sales Target and Invoicing.
o Hands on experience in dealing with clients and Sub contractors.
o Prepare competitive quotes with current market trends.
o Attending client meetings, as and when required.
o Closing deals in terms of technical as well as commercial point of view.
o Generate new customers and clients for the company.
o Meeting clients to get product approval by presenting the technical aspects of the job.
o Project Execution for various government and semi government projects.
o Design and quote for Fuel systems as per the Project requirements.
o Design and quote for Noise reduction system and Acoustics System for various residential and Commercial Projects.
o Design and quote for Acoustic enclosures for Various Oil and gas projects.
o Project coordination once the Job has been acquired.
o Site visits and coordination for ongoing projects.
JOB PURPOSE:
I work in the manufacturing department of sound proof enclosure as Production Engineer. My tasks include designing of sound proof enclosures according to generator specification and technical data of the generator and provide cost estimate for the same. I also create Model of same using SolidWorks and conduct various flow simulation tests to ensure they meet the required performance level.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o To design sound proof enclosure, canopies and containers as per generator specification and technical data.
o To make material cost breakdown of new projects.
o To make 3D models of project and designs before manufacture and carryout flow simulations in design software.
o To prepare shop drawings for the fabrication dept.
o To make CNC programs for fabrication department.
o Create generator room layout of buildings for client approval.
o To compute cost and price estimation for canopy and containers.
o To maintain a record of daily activities and production details.
o To ensure maximum utilization of resources to get the best possible outcome of the design in hand.
o Discuss technical issues with customers and understand their needs and requirement and design accordingly.
o To check the quality of the finished product and to ensure that it meets the customer specifications and standards.
o To schedule work so as to avoid delays in the line of production.
o To innovate new designs and concepts so as to increase the performance of canopy in decreasing the acoustics at the same time controlling the cost of production.
JOB PURPOSE:
I worked as Site Engineer for their 20 MW Biomass Power Plant located in Tirunelveli. I was assigned the Construction, Erection and commissioning work of the Air Cooled Steam Condenser. The condenser unit condenses steam to water using air cooling there by creating a closed cycle.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Interpretation and analysis of structural and piping drawing and execution of the same.
o Meet clients and report daily progress and respond to their queries.
o Interpretation of piping drawing and coordinate the installation of pumps and piping.
o Inspection of all welds and joints.
o Respond to problems and find Immediate and adequate solutions at the site.
o Job scheduling depending on priority of work and availability of men and material.
o To make material cost breakdown of new projects.
o Material inspection and analyzing the quality and standard of work.
o Allotment of man power for each job maximum productivity and minimum loss.
o Meeting the clients and sharing the progress each day.
- Job Purpose:

- Interpretation of piping drawings and coordinating and analysing Pump and Piping installation.
- Inspection of all Welds and Joints.
- Respond to Problems and find immediate and adequate solutions at the site.
- Job Scheduling depending on Priority of work and availability of men and material.
- Material Inspection and Analysing the Quality and Standard of the Work.
- Labour Allotment for each job in the required number for maximum output and minimum loss.
- Meeting the Clients and assessing and sharing the work information of each day.
- Meeting the clients and responding to their queries.
