Responsibilities:
• Developed the Maintenance departmental strategy in line with the Gems sites strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across.
• Regularly report to the Site General Manager on the site operational activities of the department, challenges, and issues faced, mitigation is taken, etc. as required to keep them informed and updated on the division’s activities.
• Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team, and providing formal and informal feedback to maximize overall performance, engagement, and motivation.
• Contribute to the preparation of the Maintenance department’s budget, manage, and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
• Lead and manage the planning of preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance plans/work schedules (including annual and long-term maintenance plans) for all types of maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical I&C) across the facilities ensuring that Maintenance jobs are carried out in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective with adherence to HSE standards.
• Lead the effective cascading of the maintenance strategy into work instruction and SOPs for each equipment process in all areas of mechanical, electrical, instrumental, controls and systems and ensure safe and timely maintenance of equipment.
• Lead the effective implementation of approved plans in liaison with the discipline engineers and operations team across all the assets and equipment within set timelines and budget to facilitate uninterrupted operations.
• Oversee the equipment risk assessment process to facilitate proactive identification of anomalies and ensure optimum risk mitigation in accordance with the best practices.
• Manage the timely response to all emergency breakdowns and provide prompt corrective action to ensure site availability, thereby minimizing the downtime and possibility of liquidity damages.
• Oversee the maintenance documentation process and ensure it is completed correctly including filing in the log, outlining the fault, method of repair and the time, labor, and materials used to support timely availability of information.
• Review the daily maintenance / Condition monitoring reports and submit periodic reports to the management, keeping them informed of all technical problems, if any, as well as recent changes or modifications to the existing work plant or schedule.
• Lead the Maintenance management meeting so that the entire team is clear on the standards required and the maintenance programs that are underway.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the activities of the maintenance department through direct Supervision of Maintenance engineers, Technicians, ensuring the effective execution of their job responsibilities.
• Directs the Coordination of the facility maintenance department with operations and purchasing personnel in defining, analyzing, solving, and repairing equipment and machinery.
• Provides technical expertise and directs coordination of departments and support personnel in upgrading of equipment and development of systems and leading changes for the enhancement of overall sites reliability, efficiency, and economy.
• Oversees the planning and assures coordination of all participating sites personnel and subcontractors, scheduled and unscheduled sites outage.
• Participate in budget development with direct manager and controls maintenance expenditures, maintaining an active cost reduction program directed toward improved sites profitability.
• Leading the FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) activities.
• Coordinate, meet, and support our third-party contractors/vendors including Spare parts, painters, installers, housekeepers, equipment local builders, and other specialized trades.
• Organize and document project information and updates.
• Check and ensure the implementation of all maintenance control documents through the department.
• Travel to various builders/Vendors/cities as required to support site/Maintenance department.
• Assures compliance with all Government regulations, Environmental standards and sites safety procedures and programs.
• Liaises closely with the operation department and HSE team on the delivery of planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Attend HSE inspections, audits, assessments, and meetings.
• Conduct Risk Identification/analysis /assessment, and meetings.
• Actively participates in and promotes company health, safety and environmental campaigns, initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise and perform the site/project work or other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily with operation supervisor, scheduling all fleet preventive and corrective Maintenance.
• Check and ensure the development, implementation, and execution of maintenance programs.
• Oversee and schedule maintenance outages as part of preventive maintenance program.
• Oversee the Priorities and liaised between maintenance and operation team, delegating tasks to complete on time.
• Check and monitor Completed partial or full dismantling of equipment to quickly repair or replace defective components and restore functionality.
• Attending and ensuring the availability of all maintenance teams for all safety and Maintenance training programs.
• Check and oversee the procuring pricing information from various third-party contractors/vendors to support cost-effective purchasing.
• Keeping track of fleet & equipment details, warehouse inventories, and system upgrades to prepare and present detailed reports to line manager.
• Oversee productivity by reducing downtime, budgeting effectively, allocating tasks, and maintaining lofty standards of safety and work quality.
• Check and finalized work on building systems by completing basic carpentry and other finish work.
• Established and documented protocols for preventive maintenance procedures, decreasing equipment issues and reducing downtime.
• Implemented scheduled maintenance, retooling production status sheets, and driving tasks to achieve scheduling effectiveness.
• Keeping the fleet & Equipment maintenance record using fleet maintenance pro system software.
• Coordinating with operation team and support logistic requirement for the site/project.
