Key Deliverables:

• Direct and monitor the execution of tasks under the contract scope of work, include design, constructions & maintenance of road pavements network for the Eastern Province Municipalities of Saudi Arabia
• Identify pavements network, sections and sample unit; create the required manual for pavements distress surveys, comprise survey record plan (SRP) & Standard pavement distresses survey manual.
• Inspect field surveys and collection of pavements distresses, plan project work, program and implementation methodologies
• Organize and lead quality check for the data collected prior to entering into the PMS Software, ( MicroPaver), Developed by US Corp’s of Engineers
• Review Quality Assurance Plans & monitoring progress of work, overall cost control and methods of construction Procedure, method statements of work and relevant testing standards.
• Coordinate and liaise for the approval of QC&QA results of pavement work & recommend solutions to non-conformity reports
• Assess and evaluate pavement structural integrity and operational condition by the used of Non-Destructive Testing Machines - FWD, Mu-meter, Surface Profiler Truck, etc.
• Supervise road maintenance projects (+SR 350 million) and generate project reports; maintain the project schedule above schedule and acceptable quality products
• Provide technical support to the Municipality Maintenance Engineers such as:
o Implementing standards & methodologies of executing asphalt paving, compaction, including placement & compaction of subgrade, subbase, base course layers of the pavement
• Organize Bi-monthly meeting with the staff in order to hear and updates each of the staff requirements, proposals and problems while performing the allocated tasks

Key Assignment:

• Oversaw and managed advisory and consultancy services for
o Restoration and recovery of runway, taxiways and aprons of King Abdul-Aziz Naval Base in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
o Construction of additional rigid pavement apron and connecting taxiways of Prince Sultan Bin Abdul-Aziz Regional Airport in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia
• Smeared Heavy Weight Falling Deflecto-Meter (HFWD), Mu-Meter for (Skid Resistance Test) & Surface Profiler’s Truck (Roughness Test) fo determination of International Roughness Index (IRI).
o Non-Destructive Tests for the assessment of operational safety & structural integrity
o Determination of Pavement Classification Number (PCN) of Runways, Taxiways and Aprons of Medina New International Airport and Prince Sultan Bin Abdul-Aziz Tabuk Regional Airport
