• Working as part of the sales team to develop both new and existing markets.
• Evaluating competitor activity and developing appropriate responses.
• Support the Area / Product Sales Manager in the preparation of realistic sales targets.
• Nurture the company’s relations with customers, and establishes / reinforces personal and company credibility.
• Identify and develop relations with new customers.
• Demonstrate deep technical knowledge in product portfolio, and stay up to date on technical developments in commercial vehicles and on competition.
• Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and e-mails.
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
• Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
• Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
• Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
• Reviewing my own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
• Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
• Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
• Constantly learning and adapting sales technique and behaviors
• Keeping up to date with product and market competition advancement and updates to ensure correct information is passed onto the client.
• Ensure the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty and paperwork.
• A Main Member in the Main Bidding analysis Committee of Meters, measuring instruments and protection devices.
• A Main Member in the Main Committee of Meters, measuring instruments and protection devices inspection.
My duties include:
The Meters Verification & Revision of Large Consumers Management
• The meter connections verification and It's calibration by the portable calibration instruments at its location to ensure the real consumption comparing with the meter readings.
• Verifying the power factor (if it is in the accepted range) and verifying the maximum demand (if it overreaches the contract).
• Supervising the calibration of all 3 phase meters of the company before its installations according to the IEC standards.
The Central Laboratory of Metering & Calibration Management
• Examining and testing Equipments belonging to the company (Transformers - Distribution boards).
• The fixed bench calibration units supervision (MTS 320-20 POS, Class 0.02 ZERA units).
• Supervising the calibration of all 3 phase meters of the company before its installation and the old meters maintenance if their errors are outside the accepted error ranges (IEC standards).
