• Prepares and evaluates the full implementation of changes that are required, signing off of new projects, equipment, tooling, SQA reports etc., layout requirements.
• Responsible for engineering documentation e.g. FMEA and Assists in Engineering manuals.
• Ensures that all relevant manufacturing information are correctly structured and maintained.
• Ensures compliance with the relevant statutory, Company, customer, supplier, quality, regulations/procedures.
• Monitor all project activities, setting deadlines and ensuring that the project is on track.
• Ensures the continuous improvement of methods, tooling, equipment, systems, identifying problems in manufacturing and solve using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure that all methods of manufacturing are available at the start of production
• Provides an effective day to day engineering support and responsibility for the unit including problem solving for the shop floor, customer, supplier, and other company functions.
• Recommends, develops and implements courses of action to continuously improve manufacturing and engineering systems, procedures, policies, activities and reports
