TVET & Institutional Capacity Building
- Work with the employment hub within the VTCs to facilitate the placement and employment of trained women graduates in high-demand occupations in collaboration with the WE LEAD technical specialists.
- Support the employment hub within the VTC to work on the beneficiaries’ recruitment and selection process as per the selection criteria.
- Under the supervision of TVET and Institutional capacity-building specialists provide the needed support to VTC staff on sustaining processes for developing and updating market-driven, gender-sensitive technical and soft skills training programs, with strong employer engagement.
- Support TVET and institutional capacity-building specialists in assessing the capacity of VTC at the institutional level to design and implement capacity development plans as required.
- Under the supervision of the technical specialists, support the VTC and TVET commission to establish healthcare and ECD sectoral advisory committees, led by the private sector as requested by the supervisor.
- Work in collaboration with the technical specialists to promote VTCs’ adherence to training quality assurance guidelines, track trainee success in learning and employment, and adjust training provision, as required, based on effective monitoring of training results.
- Support the sustainability, scaling up, and identification of revisions of technical and soft skills training programs as required by the national standards and plans.
- Implement community-based activities with strong community and youth engagement.
Private Sector
- In coordination with the technical specialists conduct sectoral mapping of potential private sector partners and identify their needs regarding employment and work environment.
- Support the private sector engagement specialist in developing co-financing incentive mechanisms, outreach, and implementation within their targeted areas with potential private sector partners.
- Closely work with the Employment and Partnership officer on a mobilization plan for the private sector partners in the targeted areas.
Conduct and plan regular and ongoing field visits under the guidance and supervision of the Employment and Partnership officer as per the needs and requirements of the project.
Ensure submitting visit work plans and reports regularly.
- Identify and engage with the private sector Closely work with the Employment and Partnership officer to coordinate on-site visits for WUSC trainees at the workplaces entities in Irbid as required.
- Report feedback received from the field visits back to the Employment and Partnership officer.
- Develop in coordination with potential employers in the health and related sectors to identify internship and employment opportunities and support with building effective areas of prospective linkages.
- Work closely under the supervision of the Employment and Partnership officer to achieve the ultimate goals and objectives related to the training (internship) and employment components, in addition to Private Sector Partner identification, outreach, and engagement.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Employment and Partnership officer.
- Organize, outreach, facilitate and actively participate in community gatherings and Focus Groups discussions.
- Mobilize and facilitate the engagemenment meetings, workshops and seminars.
- Identify local level partners, support and facilitate the partnership in the implementation of planned activities.
- Facilitate stakeholders and partners in supervision and monitoring of programmatic activities.
- Participate in planning and budgeting, preparation of work plans, implementation of planned activities and monitoring / reporting of progress.
- Facilitate Empowerment of girls, and women in the focus counties by building their capacity to raise their voices to oppose harmful practices.
- Collaborate with community leaders and education partners to plan the education monitoring activities.
- Monitoring of the performance of environmental conservation groups (Support development of integrated monitoring plan in assigned area with area stakeholders), (Organize reflection meetings at the local level implementation of planned activities and monitoring / reporting of progress) (Facilitate and monitor the implementation of planned activities and community level engagements).
- Networking: Facilitate networking relationships and participation with wide stakeholders such as government.
- Support the collection and documentation of impact and success stories on monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annually.
- Maintain and update database on a daily/weekly and monthly basis.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Help identify potential outreach and awareness opportunities.
- Helping in identify and coordinate outreach events and activities including.
- Refer women with specific health questions to their healthcare provider.
- Have fun and help save lives through education.
