I oversaw the HR department alongside the HR Director, supervising a team of 4 HR field personnel, and implementing HR initiatives across more than 85 McDonald's stores and the head-office in Kuwait. My responsibilities included developing recruitment strategies, successfully onboarding over 500 employees as part of a pandemic recovery plan, conducting job analysis, updating job descriptions, and overseeing recruitment channels. I designed and implemented employee engagement initiatives to improve satisfaction and retention, managed performance evaluation systems, provided guidance to managers, and enforced disciplinary actions when necessary. I identified training needs, developed training programs, and ensured compliance with labor laws and company policies. Lastly, I kept a close watch on changes in labor laws and updated HR practices to remain in compliance.
