The Job involves Managing buying and merchandising functional areas for UK commercials team in achieving the sales, stock and margin targets, through efficient execution of purchase orders, supplier performance reviews, cost & budget control, product & promotion management, collation of business reports, providing analysis, providing forecasting & sales trends, business intelligence reports and undertaking business development projects.
 Handling queries on concerns of shipping shortages and addressing problems with inventory control.
 Coordinating with the International sourcing team for products shipment and developments.
 Forecasting product need and availability, reviewing historical data and following through with purchase orders.
 Analyzing detailed reports of ageing and non moving stocks and inventory analysis reports.
 Improving the sales growth through inventory availability.
 Reducing inventory holding cost through appropriate inventory flow.
Doing people reviews & performance appraisals for the team.
