Duties & RespoDuties & Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate the Inspection Program
2. Administer the Preventative and Predictive Maintenance program and review on a regular basis, the quality of inspection checklists and their frequency
3. Doing vibration analysis activities, oil analysis (with sub-contractor), non-destructive testing, ultrasonic activities, infrared activities and all other advanced detection activities as required
4. Conduct personal special equipment inspections on mill liners, gears, drives and the clinker cooler including critical welds using dye penetrate and magnetic particle techniques
5. Supervise oil management program to ensure that all lubrication efforts including sampling, is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with plant requirements
6. Develop reliable and cost effective lubrication strategies aimed at maximizing equipment life and reliability
7. Ensure that environmentally friendly use, reuse and disposal of lubrication materials is performed
8. Record and analyze reports from all maintenance activities in an effort to ensure that all necessary repairs are planned and executed prior to deterioration of equipment and to maximize equipment reliability, make use of available resources and minimize costs.
9. Interface with Maintenance and Operations to schedule and prioritize inspections and repair work and identify any equipment problems, which may be impacting the process negatively.
10. Manage equipment history records in order to provide feed back on work orders, information for preventative and predictive maintenance activities, and to provide environmental compliance assurance documentation
11. Conduct studies as needed in order to increase equipment reliability while reducing maintenance costs, recommend modifications or replacements in order to increase reliability, and design out problems when reviewing proposed capital or major maintenance projects.
