Day to day duties
Acting principal in her absence
1. Assist the Dean in all Foundation matters for the purpose of supporting him/her in meeting the needs of the College students.
2. Conduct meetings with all teaching staff for the purpose of coordinating activities including disseminating and receiving information.
3. Schedule the lessons within the Foundation Year
4. Allocate and manages Foundation teachers teaching hours
5. Support the College Director in planning and implementing activities/events, and addressing operational issues, etc.
6. Monitor inventory of instructional materials, equipment and supplies for the purpose of identifying required items for the Foundation curriculum.
7. Work with the College Counselor helping and supporting the Dean monitoring the attendance rates of the Foundation students.
8. Undertake administrative duties related to the learning and success of Foundation students, including attendance and assessment.
9. Teach up to 16 hours per week.
10. Manage the Junior Teacher Mentoring Programme
11. Attend and contributes to the Academic Steering Committee
12. Support and assists the Head of Foundation with the development of all Foundation Curriculum
13. Coordinate all assessment activities, including student entry/placement tests
14. Support Foundation teaching staff in teaching and learning methodology, ensuring innovative and creative teaching practices
15. Support students to be study-ready for a project-based learning environment.
16. Assist the Head of Quality with all teaching and learning quality issues, to enhance student outcomes
