1. Participate in a kick-off meeting with the client and consultant to obtain
basic information and an overview of the project such as (Budget,
Deliverables, project key persons and contacts, …)
2.Attending internal Kickoff meeting sharing the project information and roles
among the project team (Duration, Deliverables, who is doing what, …..)
3.Collecting the project package (Contract, IFC package, Document
formats…) and distribute to other teams (Technical, Planning, Site, ….)
4.Reviewing and full understanding of the project contract.
5.Reviewing carefully the project package specially (Budget with all the
related documents received from Tendering ) highlighting all concerns with
the proposed available solutions and listing the high risks concerns to Escalate
to the upper management,
6. Coordinate mobilization with the needed tools (Office spaces, PCs,

7.Assigning the document controller to document everything during project
life cycle.
8.Create project team organization chart and approve from consultant and
client.
9.Coordinate with Planning and top management project (Schedule, Budget
, Scope ) listing project milestones.
10. Engineering monitoring with technical team and consultant.
11. Oversight of timely delivery of materials with procurement.
12. Manage all resources required to carry out the construction and supervise
construction activities with the construction team.
13. Oversight of interim payment invoices and coordination with all parties
involved
14. Monitoring of Changes or Orders to Change by All Affected Parties.
15. Manage and document all project communication with all parties
involved.
16. Participate in progress meetings with updated progress reports.
17. Creation of personnel KPIs based on company policy.
18. Conflict management and Problem Solving..
19. Manage risks to keep projects on budget and on schedule, and take
precautions to avoid or minimize adverse impacts.
20. Escalate risks to senior managers as needed.
21. Track project documentation archives.

1. Monitoring technical work (workshop drawings, coordination drawings,
material submittals, etc.) with technical team and consultant.
2. Monitoring material delivery status with procurement team for particularly
long lead items delivery to take necessary preventive actions in case of any
anticipated delay.
3. Overseeing and confirming that installed materials are compatible with
approved materials
4. Oversee quality of store and stored equipment.
5. Collaborate with quality control team and on-site team to monitor and
control quality of MEP's work in timely manner.
6. Track IR productivity with onsite team.
7. Coordinate site work and necessary approvals among concerned parties

Testing and commissioning phase
MEP Coordinator:
1.Participation in technical and progress meetings.
2.Support on-site team with necessary approvals among concerned parties.
3.Collaborate with quality control team and on-site team to monitor and
control quality of MEP's work in timely manner.
Mechanical Technical Manager:
1. Review the received IFC package (drawings, B.O.Q, specifications).
2. Prepare a verification report of the IFC package received, listing all missing
documents and concerns (technical, contractual, coordinating) and relevant
documentation (letter, RFI, VO, V.E., etc.) forward to the relevant parties.
3. Leads and collaborates with technical teams (engineers and draftsmen) to
create workshop drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire fighting) and uses software
to create relevant and necessary calculations such as (HAP, Elite, External
Static, Pump Flow, Pump Head, Microsoft Office. etc) Compliant with local
and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, NFPA, etc.)
4. Perform a technical review of material documentation to apply actual
dimensions to workshop drawings.
5. Support on-site team with flexible alternative solutions for coordination
during construction.
6. A reminder about the delay in requesting materials from the procurement
department.
7. Reminding consultant of delays in responding and approving technical
documents (workshop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, etc.)
8.Report progress to direct manager.
9. Complete all technical project work.
10. Assist on-site team in creating as-built drawings.

as software programs related to mechanical discipline (HVAC, plumbing,
firefighting) such as (HAP, Elite, External Static Pressure, Pump Flow, Pump
Head, etc.) Complies with local and international standards (ASHRAE,
SMACNA, IPC, NFPA, etc.)
5. Equipment proper selection.
6. Work with BMS team to control and sequence operation of mechanical
systems
7. Work with Fire Alarm team to interface Mechanical systems as required.
8. Provide electrical team with actual power consumption of selected
mechanical equipment.
9. Provide structural team with necessary shafts and concrete slab openings
required for mechanical work.
10. Provide architectural team with necessary mechanical space and proper
equipment placement, in addition to mechanical requirements such as
exposed outlets, access doors, and false ceiling heights that must be included
in ID drawing.
11. Coordinate architectural fire zones and escape routes to be considered
and coordinate them with mechanical fire protection package releases such
as (smoke management packages, fire fighting, etc.).
