-Provide project controls management, including baseline schedule development and management, performance status and reporting, change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools.
Role Objective
-Lead the country projects control team (on ground/virtual) providing a technical and operational direction.
-Liaise with business leaders on key progress highlights against KPIs (Billability, Cash, productivity)
-Ensure projects success metrics met through organizing monthly projects progress review meetings.
-Scope definition and break down into work packages, CPM Scheduling, resources planning and control.
-Generates schedule control reports, Resource histograms and S-curves.
-Review Sub-contractors monthly progress updates and validate against billing milestones.
-Monitor accounts receivables/payables balance, tracking suppliers’ commitments, reviewing contractor’s
invoices and supporting fiscal month end accruals reconciliation.
-Commence R&O analysis, determine anticipated budget changes and contingency release.
-Produce monthly expenditure reports, cost/billing estimate, forecast at completion reports, inception to
date versus budgeted baseline, productivity reports and accuracy analysis.
-Review potential changes, analyze impact and supports variation proposals submission.
-Drive 6 weeks ahead schedule.
-Quantities take off, Site activities progress surveillance, progress update and reporting.
-Liaison level 3 schedule and necessary resources plans.
-Validate contractors’ monthly invoices.
-Review contractors change notices, support preparation and negotiation of contractual claims.
-Validate Bill of Quantity (BOQ) against drawings / specifications
-Initiate Master schedule, accumulating project trades (Civil & Electromechanical)
-Attending site progress meetings.
-Provide consolidated status and progress reports to site management.
-Review submittals and shop drawings and mark As-built changes.
-Liaise with client representative and subcontractors.
-Ensures execution in accordance with approved construction drawings and specifications.
-Coordinate Interaction between Site Team and PMC.
-Conduct site surveillance on activities conformance with applicable specifications, relevant Inspection and
testing plans (ITP’s) & up to date drawings revisions.
-Liaise with execution team and PMC on 3rd party site testing results.
-Quality records maintenance.
