Overview

Overview
Responsible for securing the Drilling and Exploration Services in line with the policies and procedures of Rashpetco (Shell JV) with a focus on sourcing, scope of work development, remuneration modelling and terms and conditions; administered the procurement process for several large projects including but not limited to ultradeep water drill ship, manpower, well services, cementing and logging.
Responsibilities
• Developing detailed sourcing strategies in consultation with end users.
• Developing and issuing ITBs / RFQs to market in collaboration with user departments.
• Coordinating the evaluation of submissions; supplier negotiations on terms and conditions; recommendations for award; and internal approval and execution of contracts / POs.
• Contracts Management activities including contract kick-off meeting; progress and KPI reporting; claims management; contract variations; invoicing; and contract closeout.
Accomplishments
• Successfully hired 2 ultra-deep water drill ships for 2 years with a value beneath the market average with 30% ($55K USD per Day).
Overview
Provide regional support for North Africa contracts management teams; participated in the drafting and negotiation of sales contracts for drilling and operations services.
Responsibilities
• Monitor and track the status of active contracts.
• Analyze all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Negotiate contract rates, terms, and conditions with counter parties.
• Ensure that contracts are approved and executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide contract management duties for support contracts including but not limited to drafting amendments and agreeing variation orders.
Overview
Responsible for securing the Drilling and Exploration Services in line with the policies and procedures of GUPCO (Shell JV) with a focus on sourcing, scope of work development, remuneration modelling and terms and conditions; administered the procurement process for several large projects including but not limited to offshore jack-up drilling rigs, well services, directional drilling, cementing, and logging.

• Develop contract strategy development and determine the most effective method to use in obtaining products / services.
• Coordinate with end user to prepare the ITB / RFQ.
• Respond to vendor queries, evaluates received submissions, negotiate terms and conditions where appropriate and awards purchase orders and supply contracts.

Accomplishments
• Successfully reduced the spend on a number of drilling contracts (including rigs, wireline logging, well placement, and cementing) by approximately 20% ($10M USD / 2 Years) by negotiating and implementing more efficient rates, remuneration structure / terms and conditions.
