As Site Steel Structures Engineer, participated in the review of structural shop drawing and
material submittals for all steel structures, supervision of site works in coordination with other
trades, ensuring compliance of site works with the approved specifications and drawings,
witnessing and approving steel structures’ testing, etc., for the following project:
- Independent Media Station, Jordan. Detailed design (under BIM management), tender
documents and supervision of construction for 4-storey building at the Business Park
Complex, accommodating all news broadcasting studio facilities, supporting offices and
utilities. Total built-up area: 2, 933 m².
Participated in the structural design and analysis, including coordination with other trades,
and preparation of specifications, cost estimates, calculations and other technical design
documents, for the following projects:
- Al Maktoum International (AMI) Standby Emergency Power Plants, United Arab Emirates.
Concept, preliminary and final designs (under BIM management), and tender documents
for 5 standby power plants to supply the essential, critical and life safety electrical loads. All plants are low rise buildings, each with a maximum height of 15 m.
- Camels Heritage Village, Saudi Arabia. Master plan, detailed design, tender documents
and supervision of construction for various facilities and buildings occupying a 30 km² site,
including main Camel Mzayen, camel auction area, camel exhibition and museum, daily
festival area, heritage souq, governmental agencies camp, staff and labour camps,
reception and information centre, helipad zone, service and warehousing areas, praying
area, chain link fences.
Al Maktoum International (AMI) - Concourse 1 Building, United Arab Emirates. Detailed
design (under BIM management and according to LEED v4 BD+C Gold certification
requirements), tender documents and supervision of construction for a concourse building
of 2 million m² in built-up area (combined capacity with Concourse 2 of 120 million
passengers/year), including underground BHS space, and related rotundas and fixed
bridges.
- Consultancy Services for ADNOC New Headquarters - Phase II, United Arab Emirates.
Concept design review, and preparation of detailed design (under BIM, targeting "Pearl 3"
certification) and tender documents for the second phase of a corporate headquarters
building, consisting of a podium, 3 basement levels for car-parking and services, majlis,
mosque in addition to the renovation of the phase 1 original building and all related
infrastructure services.
- Support Facilities for Southside Al Maktoum International (AMI), United Arab Emirates.
Detailed design (under BIM management and according to LEED v4 BD+C certification
requirements) and supervision of construction for the expansion and enhancement of
various support and ancillary facilities serving the accommodation of interim passenger
and cargo operations from 2017 through 2021. The support facilities are related to Dubai
Airports Airside Operations (DAAO), Dubai Airports Engineering Services (DAES), DNATA,
DA and the police authority. Such facilities include workshops, vehicle maintenance
services, operation centres, warehouses, storage areas, administration offices, mosques,
fire training facilities, etc., inclusive of all infrastructure networks.
Support Facilities for Southside Al Maktoum International (AMI), United Arab Emirates.
Detailed design (under BIM management and according to LEED v4 BD+C certification
requirements) and supervision of construction for the expansion and enhancement of various support and ancillary facilities serving the accommodation of interim passenger and cargo operations from 2017 through 2021. The support facilities are related to Dubai Airports Airside Operations (DAAO), Dubai Airports Engineering Services (DAES), DNATA,
DA and the police authority. Such facilities include workshops, vehicle maintenance services, operation centres, warehouses, storage areas
Design of a 3, 500 m² auditorium building for Qatar Petroleum Co. (as per QCS and BS
Codes), including the auditorium and multipurpose hall, warming kitchen and VIP reception
area.
- Design of a new fire station building for Qatar Petroleum Co. (as per QCS and BS Codes).
- Preparation of BOQ’s for the Security Forces Medical Centre Project, Saudi Arabia.
- Design of steel canopy and trusses for a building at EMAL Administrative Complex.
- Review of designs for several sheds at Banana Island in Qatar (as per QCS and BS Codes).
