● Managing subcontractors by close follow up on the documents submittals technically and commercially.
● Sending invitation to tenders & RFQs and reviewing the offers technically and commercially and preparing comparison sheets.
● Reviewing the project contract BOQs and scope against the design drawings to hi-light the differences.
● Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.
● Technical advisor for construction related matters.
Project: Hamad International Airport- HIA, Aircraft maintenance hangar & AEO building (Demolishes, Alterations and Additions) - Fit- out project, under MACE supervision.
Title: Civil section head engineer.
Works Description: Qatar airways which is the end user asked for some modifications and additions to the already finished work in AMH building (CP26). Our scope of work was to demolish some of the existing walls, floors and ceilings in order to join adjacent rooms together, modifications to the existing work was also done. Many vacant areas were fully finished (ex: drywalls, block walls, ceramic tiles, carpet tiles, linoleum flooring, steel doors, false ceilings, windows, painting to walls and doors, toilet accessories and furniture). We were the main contractor.
Responsibility:a) Arranging the site facilities, store, stock area, offices, and the rest and smoking shelters…etc.
b) Studying the drawings and the project documents like the inspection test plans (ITP), the method of statements (MS), the material approval reports (MAR)…etc.
c) Leading my crew of foremen and workers in doing and constructing the nominated works according to the planed schedule and with regards to the safety and quality requirements.
d) Preparing the work permits and issuing the required requests for inspection before 24 hours with all their required attachments.
e) Preparing the construction daily reports and the three weeks forecast schedule for the site work.
f) Ordering the required materials in advance with giving a time frame to the purchasing time cycle.
g) Coordinate closely with the client in order to get the work moving smooth and fast.
h) Lead the subcontractors and follow up with them closely to complete their work with the required quality within the time frame.
i) Identify the design and engineering concerns by hi-lighting them with proposed solutions in early stages.
j) Working on the punch list items to close them in a timely manner in close coordination with the client.

Works Description: Medical center building and the administration offices building in the contract package CP-95, the buildings constructed on are equal to 892m2 for each, consists of ground floor plus two more levels having three staircases. The building includes all the civil works (ex: excavation, blinding concrete, footings, columns, backfilling, water proofing, concrete beams and slabs, R.C. walls …etc) and the architectural and finishing works (ex: marble, ceramics, vinyl floorings, linoleum flooring, acrylic painting, gypsum board false ceiling, gypsum board partitions and walls cladding, raised floors, curtain walls, …etc) in
addition; the outside building civil works and infra structures facilities.
Responsibility: 1- Calculating the tender quantities from the tender drawings and comparing them by the newly issued drawings in order to claim for the extra cost based on the BOQ in addition finding out the differences that may be present in the new specifications, site instructions and technical queries revisions that may impact the cost of the project positively or negatively.

f) Ordering the required shutter, steel rebars and concrete and any other approved material will be required to accomplish the works in the right way.
g) Preparing the daily construction reports, the planning and progress reports.
h) Working on the punch list items to close them in a timely manner in close coordination with the client.
Working in PETROJET at Egypt.

Title: Q.A., Q.C. civil engineer.
Works Description: Under the supervision of PETROBEL CO., performing bored piles, CFA piles, large scale footings, roads, and lots of the finishing works.
Responsibility: Preparing the QCP, QTP, in order to fit the requirements of the project specifications and discussing it with the Q.C. engineer that represents the owner or the consultant. Testing materials that used in doing the works and also inspecting the work itself while processing it and after it had done by using the QTP, and have everything documented and approved from the owner.
Being the connecting ring between my company site engineer and the owner engineer.
