• Assessments, house to house visits and individuals interview of Jordanian and Syrian Households
(HHs).
• Follow INTERSOS's vulnerability assessment system to identify extremely vulnerable Syrian and
Jordanian households as potential beneficiaries of rental, NFI, cash, and protection assistance
and guarantee that the selection process adheres to the criteria set in the proposal.
• Collect accurate feedback information from beneficiaries to feed the internal

• Coordinate in a team effort to conduct field visits and outreach to the Syrian refugee
community and Jordanian host communities to identify households with special needs.
• Ensure that detailed case files are prepared, organized, and filed in hard and soft copies for all
interviews conducted, and report/highlight specific needs of the beneficiary that need
immediate action.
• If requested record basic data and prepare lists of recommended cases for diverse types of
assistance
• Assist the Field Coordinators in the preparation of regular progress narrative reports.

Under the guidance of the Protection Officer and Referral Officer, the Social Worker will
be responsible to:
• Detect the presence of emerging new needs/protection risks among the new arrivals through
house-to-house visits and individual interviews.
• Identify extremely vulnerable Syrian and Jordanian households in need of referrals both
internally and to external service providers.
• Facilitate the link and the referral of the beneficiaries to various organizations for
appropriate service provision and follow up of extremely vulnerable cases identified during the
action as per SOPs endorsed at national level and using the referral forms defined at Working
Group level.
• Support the Project Officer and the Field Coordinator in consulting with referral
coordination Working Group (WG) and with all the service providers mapped by the
WG itself at Governorate level.
• Perform any other tasks requested by the Supervisor in the framework of the activities

foreseen by INTERSOS program in Jordan.
• Handled variety of field tasks: including registration of refugees, facilitations of services and
distributions, assessment, and other assigned duties. Mainly covering both cities Irbid and
AlRumtha in the Head office Amman.
