To head and manage Amadeus Egypt paying particular attention to the overall commercial / sales function of the operation, have a shared responsibility for both its operation and strategy.
Ø Define and ensure implementation of the Commercial, Financial, Solution and Technical strategy for the markets under responsibility
Ø Full responsibility of the P&L of the country maximising operational efficiency
Ø Manage staff through Management by Objectives: identify and plan training, coach on an individual and team basis, motivate existing staff and recruit and select staff to match identified competencies and needs at the country.
Ø Establish cost and revenue budgets with Amadeus Central Finance units and control budget fulfilment monthly in order to ensure that the budget, revenue and profitability targets are achieved.
Ø Initiate and manage commercial negotiations with potential and key customers.
Ø Ensure appropriate timely and accurate reporting (commercial statements, financial statements, marketing and communication plan etc.) and coordination with Amadeus corporate centres.
Ø Represent the company in discussions with Media, Authorities, Customers and Providers.
Ø Manage and negotiate with major third party suppliers (hardware, outsourced services, local providers, etc.)

To lead the Sales and Marketing Department of Amadeus Egypt, ensuring that Amadeus presence grows according to Business Marketing Communication plan
MAIN AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
- Define, develop and implement the sales and marketing plan in order to achieve the overall company strategy in the Egyptian market
- Manage the Sales and Marketing team through MBO( Management By Objectives): recruit, motivate, coach and plan training to increase quality and efficiency and ensure evolution of the team and delivery of sales targets.
- Drive all stages of the sales cycle from the prospecting and qualification of prospects within targeted market segments to closure in order to meet or exceed the established sales targets
-Identify, develop and secure new cost-effective market segments, where appropriate as well as seek and attract new, cost-effective customers to add to the portfolio in order to increase market share
- Ensure the positioning, branding, and communication of AMADEUS products to the Egyptian trade liaising with trade Press (Media) in order to achieve the highest possible impact on the targeted customers
- Ensure the continued development and improvement of the methodology used to gather customer requirement and feedback (Value Proposition, Customer Advisory Board, etc.) in order to provide the company with a clear view of future product and services to be deployed as well as assess customer perception
- Organize survey of competitive activity in the Egyptian market and disseminate the information appropriately within Amadeus Egypt and the central organization
- Elaborate and follow-up sales and marketing budget versus cost and carry out customer profitability analysis in order to control and optimise resources.
- Ensure appropriate roll-out of products and new services, including pricing, key selling points, positioning and launch activities
-Be the company spokesperson when appropriate
† Manage AIG distribution net work; 30 out lets in Cairo, Alexandria, Port said Hurghada, Luxor and Aswan (5 branches, 5 Agents & 20 distributors)† To solicit, train and motivate travel agents and other travel service providers to sell the AIG travel related insurance products and services.† Establish sales activity parameters and monitoring of the sales activity of different Travel Insurance Sales Channels. † Develop sales promotion material, brochures, policyholder documents, sales presentations and sales motivation programs for different Travel Insurance Channels. The marketing and sales activities of Travel Insurance. † Recognize and develop alternative distribution channels beyond travel agents including but not limited to financial institutions, tour operators and consolidators. † Establish and maintain key customer and travel industry relationships. † Conduct, direct and maintain current market research relative to travel industry distribution system, customer wants and needs and competitive environment.

Research and prepare data on prospects and direct solicitation of

Maintain and develop relationship with existing Corporate accounts.
Support in Card marketing program & activities
Responsible for training summer trainees & new comers and
providing initial evaluation on their performance.
Responsible for acquiring new cards, through approaching and direct
