• Scope of Responsibilities Responsible for managing all site construction activities and supervising field personnel as required to ensure adherence to international standards agreed budget, schedule and construction sequence

Primary Duties :
Post: Construction- Superintendent (July 2019 till Present)
Responsible for supervising construction activities of Petrofac and Subcontractor trades personnel related to a discipline. Maintains the highest quality standards while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.
• Ensure that all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company Health, Safety, and Environmental excellence policy.
• Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately. Regularly participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and daily jobsite walks.
• Direct all field personnel including those of construction contractors to achieve completion of the project on schedule, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
• Ensure that each reporting supervisor is capable of performing their allotted scope of work.
• Contribute to construction schedule and 6-weeks look-ahead, understand the project plans and specifications, identify and solve problems, order materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
• Maintain positive working relationship with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
• Serve as a coach and mentor for subordinates and identify construction Supervisors with capacity to be promoted to Superintendent Level.
• Implement standardized construction work processes, procedures, manuals and systems and create a system of control in each specific area.
• Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage staff to ensure that staff are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the project and company’s needs.
• Ensure that all supervisors understand the construction KPI’s and their personal KPI’s, and strive to achieve these.
• Understands the systems turnover plan and sequence and ensures that the work is performed accordingly.
• Job/Cost Impact Responsible for the completion of discipline activities within schedule and budget requirements.
• Decision Making Authority Has responsibility to take decisions relating to allocated work scope to ensure completion to schedule, quality and budget.
• Supervisory Responsibility directs the resource allocation and workloads of a team of subordinates. Typically leading a group of professionals or technical staff.

Achievement:

Provided site supervision and field engineering on a diverse range of the construction and installation of an offshore control and production platform, in phase I of the project envisages the development of six production wells to produce an initial 1bcf/d of gas in 2017, and is expected to reach its peak production capacity of 2.7bcf/d by 2019.
The overall investment in the Mediterranean offshore gas project is estimated to be approximately $12bn, with the initial investment to bring the gas field into production estimated to be approximately $4bn.

My involvement:


Technical Scope
• Site preparation and pipe lines civil activity works from wells head to the plant including the concrete valves pits, water and mud pits, and the pipes sleepers .
• Supervises construction work, and coordinates other related activities including inspections; materials issue and withdrawal, site administration, relations with operations and safety personnel in the fields/terminal to facilitate access of authorized personnel and materials, monitoring work progress, preparing activity report
• Coordination with Consultants & Project Mangers, Supervise the site labor and Sub contractors
• Site Investigations and Site supervisor, Coordination between drawings
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Analyses, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Managerial Scope:

• Preparation of technical reports based on Value Engineering.

• Lead the analysis of validation tests and integration.
• Prepare work plan and coop work problems by doing some mitigation plans
• Attends and contributes to all required meetings

Senior Project Engineer at Zeitco Company

Responsibilities:
A-Civil Field Activities
• Closely collaborated with construction contractors to ensure both safety of the facility and timely, economic completion, according to public and corporal safety regulations.
• Soil mechanics & foundations: supervisions of mechanical piles foundations & pile load testing.
• Foundation of water & oil tanks, Concrete Paving & pipe trenches and Civil works for fiber optical cables protection.
• Work over for wells sit preparations modifications (dismantling fences, removing old sleepers, modifying cellar pad and pump pad, re-excavate mud pit and water pit, reconstruct road track

Projects participated in:
• Gas Field New camp at Port-Fouad Gas Field: including eleven villas, mess, mosque, administration building, work shop, laboratory, waste water treatment plant, water supply, sanitary utility, fence, guarding towers landscape with sport area with total area (10000 m2), with project total budget (5, 000, 000 $).
• New Power Generation and Gas compression project: including four turbines 10MW/each, five turbo compressor with all relevant accessories equipments (Air cooler, Filter house, Exhausting duct & stack, steel structure 5000 ton fabrication and erection works, Control building explosion proof type consist of three floors), underground system (open & closed drain system, fire fighting network and cable concrete trench), in additional to piles works, concrete paving all over.
• Land portion gas pipeline 32'', supervise pulling P/L from the barge to the shore and on site preparation with crossing the main high way for Port Said-Damietta road, the project civil budget (6, 000, 000 $ ).
• new ware house for P/F gas plant two sand witch panel shelters 1000m2, including concrete racks for pipes, access roads and paving areas, the project civil cost (1.5, 000, 000 $ ).
• Stabilization of 4 inch Gas line by locating mattresses concrete according to Enppi Engineering. (Off shore works).
