Achievements summary: During this period I worked as new venture geophysicist and evaluated new projects and have assessment of the entire bidding round offered by EGPC (Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation) and farm in/out. Therefore; I was able through my humble efforts to contribute with my team to increasing the company's exploration areas on/offshore and hence; the team already was able for increasing the opportunities for exploration successes.
And responsibilities:
• Gathering bedding geophysical, geological and well logging data.
• Interpreting geophysical gravity, magnetic and 2D/3D seismic data in of different regime incorporate with a variety of geological data.
• Mapping to define plays, leads and prospects.
• Identify and evaluate acreage available through farm in/out joint venture opportunities.
• Assist in the preparing of volumetric and economic analysis for leads, prospects and plays.
• Propose and manage Geoscientific Studies with appropriate services provider.
• Evaluate and recommend geological and geophysical data acquisition plans for assessed opportunities to realize perceived value.
• Applying geological concepts to geological interpretations, structural and stratigraphical concepts.
• Recognize and recommend commercially attractive opportunities.
• Mentor the junior team members.

Achievements summary: I worked in such a long period as a principal geophysicist with its all assignment tasks in several teams either in the Delta on/offshore, the Gulf of Suez and Red Sea areas on/offshore, Sinai on/offshore, the Western Desert on/offshore and The Southern Upper Egypt. Therefore; I was gained an extensive experience in know how for evaluating various geological structural aspects and also contributed too many well-discoveries in most of worked besides developing phase of the fields for the joint venture companies.
And responsibilities:
• 2D/3D seismic interpretation either inshore and/or offshore areas.
• Mapping the leads, prospects and plays for the study areas.
• Assistance for planning new acquisition and follow the processing phases.
• Assistance for building the geophysical modelling based on geological concepts.
• Assistance the reservoir and subsurface teams for evaluating the volumetric and economic for the leads, prospects and plays in areas under investigation.
• Assistance and managing the communication between company, partners and clients, before and during technical meeting.

(April 1988 - October 1990)
Achievements summary: During this period I worked as Junior then geophysicist in regional studies department, for collecting, arrangement and scouting data to write a monthly summary for Exploration Management about drilling wells and seismic coverage for all active petroleum companies working in Egypt, as well as follow the seismic data acquisition and seismic data processing phases, as well as performing 2D seismic interpretation and mapping manually and 2D/3D seismic interpretation using the Workstation. In this period I worked as seismic assistant interpreter for evaluating some bidding areas; in the Western Desert. In addition, regional studies for the northern part of Egypt.
And responsibilities:
• Gathering, archiving and managing geophysical, geological and well logging data files.
• Preparing, summarizing monthly scouting reports for exploration management.
• Assistance for all geological and geophysical teams.
• Preliminary 2D seismic interpretation manually and using available Workstation softwares.
• Assistance in evaluation of some bedding acreage.
• Assistance for regional studies and technical researches.
