• As an art director in Horizon.FCB I Partners with Creative Director and/or Sr. Art Director to ensure overall brand responsibility on the account; acts to support visual standards of the account.
• Works to support Creative Director and/or Sr. Art Director, as well as XD discipline best practices; acts as an advocate for the vital role of visual design in the XD development process.
• Works as advocate for the Visual Design Practice, including best practices and process quality; models effectiveness and efficiency of Visual Design development within the XD process; upholds basic professional conduct, including time management, attendance and basic professional bearing.
• Participates in the professional Visual Design community to share industry knowledge and represent a clear and considered point of view Creative Vision, Value and Strategy.
• Partners with Creative Director and/or Sr. Art Director to understand and sometimes help shape overall Vision for Experience Design discipline assigned to projects; clarifies Vision expressed as visual design; partners with XD team members to explore and share overall team vision, viewpoints.
• Works with Creative Director and/or Sr. Art Director to identify visual design opportunities for current projects and accounts; works to identify more successful visual design strategies and solutions for assigned projects; evaluates personal work and team visual design against current industry leading best practices and accomplishments.
• Receive an advertising brief from accounts management personnel that includes the
background of the client, product or service, and the objectives of the advertising.
• Think up creative ideas for the advertising in partnership with a copywriter and/or other members of the creative team.
• Ensure that the ideas are appropriate to the client's brand.
• Create visual layout of the advertising to complement advertising cop.
• Understand the product, client or service.
• Meeting the agreed upon deadlines.
• Achieving client's approval in all necessary stages and final approval.
