▪ TR 399 Construction, Completion and Maintenance, in the Defects Liability Period, the Chilled Water Piping Network Extension to “The S Tower” at TECOM A.
▪ TR370 Construction, Completion and Maintenance in Defects Liability Period of Treated Sewerage Effluent (TSE) Network Connection to BB2 & BB5 District Cooling Plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall Contractor management, construction program, including contractual matter, contract administration, leading the progress meetings, Progress reporting, all technical reviews, site inspections etc.). Coordination with all stakeholders / Authorities related to project and assist Contractor to obtain all construction NOC’s required prior to start works as required for the project as below:
▪ Communication with the Client and the contractor regarding project budget, progress, area of concerns to sort out of any project related issues.
▪ Monitoring and leading the Contractor’s progress and quality of the works to complete the project as per contract.
▪ Reviewing and approving the contractor payments, variation orders and issuing the required site instructions related to the project after coordinating with the client.
▪ Preparing, reviewing all the report related to the project required by the client or other stockholders.
▪ Promoting technical excellence on the project, including furtherance of quality
improvement process, ensuring that adequate checking performed in accordance with the consultancy policy & procedure.
▪ Ensure to obtain different types of NOCs as required for the project with contractor (Information, trial trench and construction NOC’s) through RTA - e NOC system and the requested supporting documents for Service Authorities to be responded on time.
▪ Ensure to Obtain the approval from the services Authorities for the proposed work and for the utility distribution cross section drawings.
▪ Attend all meetings with the relevant Service Authorities and Providers Such as (DEWA, DM, DU, Etisalat, etc.) to solve the pending issues regarding their services.
▪ Coordinate with the Contractor’s on a frequent basis to ensure that no issues are encountered.
▪ Manage the project team to avoid any failure of the Contractor to conform to drawings plan and specifications and to provide good workmanship.
▪ Ensure that the works are being constructed to the latest construction and shop drawings.
▪ Liaise with the design office Engineer(s) when required.
▪ Ensure that works are compliant with the Contractor’s HSE plans at all times.

Project: R1020/1B - Up grade Dubai - Al Ain Road (Contract 1B)

Contractor: GUNAL Contracting.
Project R1020/1B starts from the chainage 3+700 at Oud Metha intersection with Ras Al Khor Rd - E44 (Bu Kidra Interchange) till the intersection with Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Road - E311 (Nad Hessa Interchange) at chainage 13+300 for approximate length of 9.6 KM.
The scope of work includes:
• Upgrade the road from 3x3 dual carriageways to a 6x6 dual carriageway with CD roads on both sides of the road till Meydan-Manamah Interchange.
• Existing Bu Kidra Interchange shall be enhanced from 3 lanes per direction to 4 lanes, till its connection with Oud Metha Road.
• Major Structural works involve the construction of Meydan-Manamah Interchange, Nad Al Shiba Signalized Interchange connecting both Nad Al Shiba 1st and 4th areas.
• Install, modify and protect the underground utilities like DEWA-WD, DEWA-ED, Irrigation system, Drainage system, ETISALAT, DU, Street light, ITS, Landscaping and Duct works.

Inspection of all road elements in all emirate of Dubai to ensure that they are in full operational state Inspection all types of defects for different road elements such as settlement, cracks, rutting, depression, damage etc. Inspection of the work activities of the private contractors and other authorities such as DEWA, ETC, DM, to ensure that they are working according to the specs, regulations and laws Making suggestions for improvement of the function of road elements as a result of my comprehensive inspection of Dubai emirate net work Supervision of work execution of road maintenance contractors, such as earth works, services, sub base, road base, asphalt base coarse, asphalt wearing coarse, road signs, road marking and making detailed reports to the head of section. Participating in taking over inspection of completed new road projects, preparing snag lists and the necessary clearance certificate action.

* Pipe line installation for force main ductile iron materials
between the plant and the draying pits
* Sheet pile works and bracing for installation for installation od
AC pipes diameter (1800mm)
