ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• HRIS: Developed MS Access based database to keep records of recruitment, visas, passports, medical, training and leave records.
• Talent Acquisition: Identified and utilized a wide variety of talent sources to recruit, screen, and evaluate applicants e.g. Naukrigulf, LinkedIn and Bayt etc.
• Compliance: Introduced a couple of check-lists and summary sheets to improve filing and tracking records.
JOB HIGHLIGHTS
• Worked proactively with recruiting agencies to ensure on time availability of competent seafarers.
• Effectively managed leave rotation records of crew to meet charterer’s audit requirement.
• Managed flag endorsement certificate processes for the seafarers after validating their documents through online resources recommended by International Maritime Organization (IMO).
• Acted as focal person to deal with all queries relating to Embassy of Pakistan, Abu Dhabi. Assisted PRO team to prepare applications for visit, employment or residence visas.
• Worked with training institutes to plan and schedule on boarding crew training as per ISO, IMO and charterers requirement.
• Maintained the Freezone site by checking for expiry of gate pass portal accounts. Also managed security passes records and processes.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Global E-HR roll out:
• Engaged with wide range of stakeholders in various phases, collating staff master employee data for fixed and contract staff.
• Processed all confidential employee data into E-HR development phase, on-site representative for the global project.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Worked extensively with Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) department ensuring proper listing and registration of entire staff.
Event Management: -
• Managed immigration, travel, accommodation and security element of UK Members of Parliament, British Council CEO and other high level officials’ visits to 2 major offices in BC Pakistan.
• Lead provincial logistical team on National staff conferences, Staff away days and L & D training.
