Technical Support & Engineering Services for Center of Developmental Projects - Ministry of Interior (CDP-MOI): DAR Consultant has been awarded this contract in early 2008 till End of 2013. Basically, the intension of this Project Contract is to avail / provide technical support and Engineering services for the Studies & Designs Department in Center of Developmental Projects (CDP) Ministry of Interior (MOI). Accordingly, DAR had established its staff liaison office in the Ministry. The contract worth of around SR 75 m and subject to available resources

The type of tasks in addition to the team involved are as following
Head of Electrical Department
Electrical design review, Material review and selection, Method Statements review & approval and Coordination with other trades
Follow-up on safety standards and codes
Technical Review and Management for MOI Consultancy Services Contracts including: Applying QA/QC, Review Construction Tendering Documents as per (System of governmental Tendering & procurement and its implementing regulations), Review and implement international & Local Codes / Standards, Prepare Cost estimate, Cost Control, Time Control, and Perform Value Engineering and Cost Reduction exercise
Prepare Consultancy Services Contracts and Construction Tender Documents for Site Adaptation of Prototype buildings including COC, Technical Specs, Modified Prototype Drawings, and B.O.Q. in Access format
Provide Contractually Consultancy/Recommendations services for Consultants and Contractors Claims, variation orders and payments. In addition to reply the Bidders inquiries
Establishment of data base for MOI Properties/Lands and Documents/ Correspondences.

i. -Producing Shop Drawings and Supervising the Execution of Main Building, Wings and Runways for all Electrical Systems: Building Access Control “BACS”, Building Management \[BMS\], Signage, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Lighting, Telephone, Power Outlets Lightning Systems and others.
ii. Responsible for Monitoring the related Coordination and carrying out Testing and Commissioning for the Electrical Systems.
