• HUAWEI VDI solution (Fusion Cube) management/deployment Virtual Desktop workloads for Remote Sites.
• VMware Virtualization Infrastructure management including vSphere 5/6 and vCenter 5/6

• Deployed the Windows Deployment Services (WDS) Server solution for the installation of Desktop PC and workstations

My special responsibilities include the management of systems department. Being incharge of “Datacenter”, I have several tasks to do, including Installation and Management of Linux and Solaris Servers including Mail servers, Anti-spam servers, DNS servers, Backup servers, Nagios server, etc and overall management of all servers including the clients Co-location servers, Webhosting servers.
Interaction with Corporate Clients like, Comsats Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), UNDP, joinpakarmy, joinpaknavy, Digitania, NDMA, DHA, PMRC, PNRA, Southerntravells, etc.
Providing High level support for Servers/Services troubleshooting.
Good relationships with major vendors like Intel, etc.
I also work for suggesting the specifications for purchasing the New servers according to our requirements and the deployment of these servers.
Conducted "Linux Systems Administration" training session for two weeks for Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) and Ministry of Defense (MoD).
Here I managed some Datacenter tasks and my special responsibilities included management of DNS Servers (Linux & Solaris), Colocation Backup Servers, Symantec Mail Security for SMTP, Web Hosting Technical Support, Domain Registration & Web Hosting Setup, etc. Solaris and Other Linux machines, Proxy Servers (ClarkConnect, ClearOS), Shell Scripting, Hardware Troubleshooting and Maintenance, etc.
I did work in deployment of Pakistan's one of the major project PERN2 (Pakistan Educational Research Network 2) powered by HEC (Higher Education Commission). I worked for Deployment in North region.
The summery of the project is to interconnect all the Universities of Pakistan with each other and International Networks NRN (National Research Network) with fibre optic Channel and HUAWEI's core and access Routers,
Core Routers: NE80E (which is installed in 3 core sites in Pakistan) and NE40E (which is deployed at each POP (Point-of-Presence) university site.)
Access Routers: NE20E (which is installed at each university's end).
Core Technologies used: MPLS, OSPF, QoS, BGP, IS-IS, etc.
Worked as ISP Assist. Engineer in HUAWEI Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. In the PTCL’s Data Center, Computer Building, H9, Islamabad.
Installed and Configured IBM Plesk server, Virtuozzo, HSPc,
Webhosting, DNS servers, Load Balancer, etc.
