TVTC is a governmental and national organization undertakes an objective planning for the development of national workforce and national manpower to which the government has given complete attention. It has governmental training centers, 80+ technical institutes, and 50+ technical colleges that plan and supervise educational and training programs.

National Administration and Finance Project (http://vt.tvtc.gov.sa):
is a platform for the Management of 86 Institutes and 52 Colleagues of TVTC under Ministry of Labor of Saudi Arabia.
It is an IT transformation enterprise web based solution platform replaced the legacy system.

The project is managing and automating all functionalities and workflow of the training centers and technical institutes of TVTC for trainees, students, and administration staff.
Major modules are admission, decisions, financial and trainee's reward, trainees’ affairs and configuration, registration and degrees, plans and courses, bank processes and FTP communication, statistical systems, login system and Active Directory integration(LDAP).

The solution project has a “Common Service base module” to manage security, user management, session, application and DB auditing. It includes an ETL tool to extract, migrate and transfer data from old Oracle 9i system to MS SQL Server 2005.

To save development time and effort, It has developed an in-house custom “Code and View Generator” to dynamically generate C# and VB.net business tier files, ASPX presentation tier pages and SQL data layer scripts. The presentation tier built using custom set of web server controls to ensure optimum satisfaction of businesses and design requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Participated in all processes of the project management, initiation and scope, requirement, and resource definition, planning and scheduling, estimation, risks, configuration and documentation, stakeholders and resource management, execution and monitoring project plan, progress, and KPIs. Progress reporting and presentation. Managing project deliverable, changes and customer acceptance. Managed the Implementation for the phased roll-out and national wide roll-out.

-Successfully managed data migration sub-project and was working as presentations and clients’ communication officer.

Conducting sessions summarizing the new IT related technologies for colleagues on voluntary basis.

-Leading the deployment phase with consideration of business availability and business continuance approaches and providing the server farms and load balancer components.

-The solution has developed using .Net, C#, ASP.Net, Visual Studio, VSS, IIS 6, Oracle 9i, Sqlserver 2005, AJAX, XML, Custom Server Controls, JavaScript, n-Tier architecture, UML and Visio. The solution has flexible framework and successfully extended to apply to the colleges.

Arabia Inform is a sharing company between EFG-Hermes and Almotaheda for Software. The company was founded to develop and manage the Arabic contents on the internet including news, Arabic digital library and encyclopedia. They starting by developing the news gateway www.moheet.com, which still up running until now. The plan was to create and develop a TV news channel and to develop the Arabic digital library www.AskZad.com. I was conducting sessions summarizing the new IT related technologies for colleagues on voluntary basis.

Responsibilities and achievements:
1- Microfilm Project an archiving solution to serve the AzkZad Arabic digital library and data bank over the web. Successfully designed and developed the whole solution, project documentation and lead team of 4 archive clerks and designed the workflow for them. Successfully developed sub-solution for image security and processing and for documentation purposes:
a) Image Encrypt/Decrypt COM: because of the sensitivity of the microfilms’s images used as a source for this project, successfully developed a security COM to encrypt and decrypt the image documents using “windows Crypto API”.
b) Image Viewer/Editor tool: an image viewer and editor tool using the same encryption/decryption COM successfully developed to allow for viewing and editing image to cut and take a specific part of the image to save this part as a new image.
This is beside an “Image Source” component which brings or set an image from/to a storage path or database.
The solution includes “Roles Based Privilege" module to manage user registration, login process, and solution functionalities. for example “Scanner” is an actor which has only access to the encryption function to encrypt and delete the source as per the requirements, and “Journalist” is another actor which has access to the browser tool to document the image through a group of fields, encrypt/view it, view it in full screen, edit it or cut a specific part to create a new image document and describe it.
The solution includes also a “Mini Browser” which it is a special view of the “Image Viewer/Editor” tool for viewing only the image document after scanning. This project developed using VB, Win API, Kodak Imaging SDK, and MS SQL Server.

2- Moheet TV Project: Is application used as a source for the journalists to follow up different channels and programs to collect news. Successfully designed and developed the whole solution. It stores satellite channels programs details with capability of capturing the showing movie into separated pictures, with specific capturing settings, and store them on a specific storage. VB and MS SQL Server.

3- Moheet Back Office: I was a key team member in maintaining Moheet back office application and DB. VC++ and MS SQL Server. Successfully managed the communication with technical team of Etisalat UAE www.etisalat.com for news data migration from SQL Server DB to Oracle DB and successfully solved migration and technical problems.

4- Arabic Search Engine Project: the purpose is to allow users over the web to do free search on a huge encyclopedia that will be available on the internet using the power of Excalibur Retrieval Ware system where successfully developed an Arabic Interface using the Excalibur High Level APIs provided. www.excalib.com. My responsibility was to build that interface, and to do that I had mastered Excalibur RW APIs which written in C, and successfully developed Client/Server Arabic interface application, then developed stand-alone application, and then successfully developed COM component to be invoked from the Encyclopedia website.

Successfully become an Excalibur RW Administrator responsible for setup and test Excalibur RW system, testing and operating the crawling functionality provided by Excalibur Retrieval Ware System. I started with Arabia Inform as a programmer/developer trainee then successfully become “Analyst/Developer” with Arabic search engine project.
