- To review Equipment and Instruments datasheets for preparation of method statements / procedures for Site Installations.
- Supervise mechanical and electrical sub-contractors, and instrumentation de-installation / reinstallation
- Managing and developing list of deliverables by reviewing project drawings.
- To report regularly to the Client on project progress, potential problems and solutions to any such problems by raising Technical Queries.
- To act as the focal point for communication with Project Site and Client.
- To prepare project schedule and external / internal progress reports.
- To attend external and internal progress review meetings.
- To get document and material approvals from client as per contract documents.
- To ensure that project works are executed safely, with quality, schedule and cost objectives with mutual satisfaction of the customer and the company.
- Work with plant engineers, process operators and instrument technicians to investigate and troubleshoot upsets regarding field instruments, DCS, Auto Tank Gauging System, Fire & Gas system and related plant.
- Implement control strategies for new and existing plant processes.
- Develop procedures for plant maintenance, Instrument Calibration, System upgrade and Installation.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors regarding site modification and installations.
- Participate in maintenance activities during plant shutdowns by coordinating the execution plans for pre-shutdown, shutdown and post-shutdown activities.
- Prepare local and foreign inquiries for procurement of instruments/equipments.
- Communicate with equipment vendors, resolving issues concerning latest technology and up gradation of equipments.
