• Managing network of more than 100 branches nationwide utilizing the available technical resources in an optimized manner.
• Planning and delivering trainings to the non-technical staff and the technical resources.
• Identification of unusual activities, generate incident reports.
• Log report and analyze the Managed switches and Router buffer Logs.
• Maintain Access to communication equipments (Logically/Out of Band)
• Audit reports for Logical Access, enforcement of access policy.
• Ensure uptime of all network links.
• Maintenance of all Network Documentation. Ensure Updated documents are circulated to the authorized personnel.
• Ensure all security devices are in working condition from time to time, Carry out drills for disaster situations.
• Ensure IP addressing schema is updated.
• Manage user IDs existing on Communication Devices, delegate appropriate access rights, maintain access-lists on routers and all communication devices connecting external networks.
• Evaluate different Network- software banking Applications and recommend for purchase.
• Define/develop policies, procedures & Manuals for configuration/maintenance tasks.
• Installing configuring and troubleshooting the Bank’s Branches Network which is interconnected on redundant links of E1, DXX, Fiber, VSATand Radio.
• Implemented automatic shifting of traffic on different circuits according to circumstances.
• Maintaining region wide network of ATM machines, Connectivity of Misys online banking application and managing VoIP on Cisco Routers.
• Liaison with the telecom operators like PTCL, BrainTel, Supernet, Wateen Etc for their infrastructure and services.
• Communication with the local telephone carrier for the entire up gradation and other carrier related issues.
KASB Technology is an internet Service Provider of international repute. It has over 5000 Dialup Ports and Bandwidth of more than 40MB countrywide.
Job Responsibilities Included:
• Communication with the local telephone carrier for the entire up gradation and other carrier related issues.
• Managing local access servers of different vendors namely Cisco and MAX Lucent.
• Managing Cisco Routers and Switches.
• Managing DNS & WEB Servers, Proxy Servers running on UNIX and Linux, Media Streaming Servers.
• Manage Server Hardware Platforms from Compaq and HP.
• Deploying and Managing PRIs, BRIs, SDH and IVS. Eutel Sat (Internet Via Satellite)
• Providing solutions to corporate clients.
• Preparing Daily reports and providing technical support to Corporate Clients.
