PROCUREMENT-

LOGISTICS
➢ Procure ad hoc rates for expediting the shipments and provide premium freight cost to the procurement team for inbound shipments from APAC, EMEA & NALA region into three sites in Mexico.
➢ Conducted RFQs for Out-of-Routing-Guide lanes, securing cost-effective service providers through strategic
evaluation and negotiation.
➢ Coordinate with the Procurement team, Internal Business Partner (Site), and Vendor (Logistics Service Providers) for the logistics business.
➢ On-time completion of weekly report on the data of Expedited Shipments received at the warehouse for recovering expedited freight costs from the Supplier or Customer and publishing the reports to Material managers
and GPSC teams.
➢ Follow up on payments of Ad hoc costs with the Procurement Team and update the payment confirmations to the weekly finance report.
➢ Handled logistics claims for lost and damaged goods, ensuring efficient resolution and minimal financial impact.
➢ Managed and resolved import challenges for the Mexico site, ensuring seamless customs processes and compliance.
➢ Trained and mentored new staff in logistics and shipping operations, maintaining operating standards. Monthly Site Metrics and KPI.
➢ Coordinating in updating and maintaining QMS documentation periodically.
