Saudi Aramco - FEED Review of JU’AYMAH NGL Facility Chilling units

FEED review of NGL chilling units at Ju’aymah Facility. The purpose of the proposed facilities is to support the corporate strategy for meeting global commitments and remaining a reliable supplier of oil and gas by upgrading the export product chiller facilities at Ju'aymah NGL Fractionation Plant (JNGLF).

As a Process Engineer, required to perform following activities:


• Confirmation of simulation
• Consistency check of all the related documents i.e. simulation, PFD, P&ID, data sheet, specification, Line list etc.
• Ensuring compliance to the latest standards
• Vendor information and incorporation in all related documents


Saudi Aramco - Enhance LPG Piping Network at Juaymah NGL Facility

FEED project to install a redundant pipeline from JNGLF to JNGLF Sea Island to facilitate export of NGLs without disruptions.
As a Process Engineer contributed in the following activities:


• PFD & P&IDs preparation
• Design basis for pipeline hydraulics
• Control philosophy
• Drainage & purging philosophy
• Scope of work for Third party HAZOP
• Attended HAZOP and SIL workshops
• Instrument air and nitrogen adequacy check for additional load for the modification


Saudi ARAMCO - Berri New Gas Oil Separation Plant Concept study

The project scope was to enhance the crude processing capacity from 250 MBCD to 550 MBCD of Berri field by installing new Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSPs) with oil and gas conditioning units. The estimated capital cost of the project is 990 Million USD.

As a Process Engineer, the assignment required performing following activities:

• Developed different simulation cases for Base case selection
• Prepared Equipment lists of all cases for cost estimation.
• Coordination with compressor & column tray vendors.
• Sizing of all major equipment i.e. including three phase separators, compressor, and stabilization tower.
• Heating medium selection study for Crude pre heating
• Existing Flare System audit study.

• Hydraulics calculations
• Pressure relief scenarios and PSV Sizing
