1. Umm Al Hayman Wastewater Project - Kuwait
• Preliminary structural design and preparation of SBR tanks, clarifiers, sub-stations, buildings, and pavements.
• Preparation of project specifications related to concrete, masonry and steel
2. Expansion of Wastewater Treatment and Reclamation Plant - Sulaibiya, Kuwait
• Detailed structural design of 65m dia circular clarifiers, Inflow distribution chamber, screening building, sand and grease traps, VFD building, pipe supports, thrust blocks
3. Storm Water Drainage for Abu Dhabi International Airport - Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Detailed structural design of wet utilities associated with sewerage including pumping stations, outfall structures, deep buried box culverts, discharge chambers, washout chambers

Main Responsibilities:
- Performing the function of structural design including production of construction documents related to water infrastructure, road infrastructure, port facilities.
- Assessing projects, identify design requirements and prepare necessary design calculations using hand calculations and software.
- Preparing MTOs and BOQs for the work as applicable and coordinate with Cost Engineers on the development of capital project estimates.
- Proving input to CAD Technicians in preparing standard details and develop new details as required
- Reviewing and checking of structural drawings and calculations produced by other team members.
- Reviewing the contractors’ detailed design submittals and ensuring that responses to contractors’ submittals are complete and in compliance with the contract documents.
- Liaison with teams working remotely from other parts of the world to facilitate completion of tasks, and project.
Main Achievements:
- Completed the design assignment tough deadlines on huge gravity-driven hydraulic wastewater network tunnel currently being constructed by the Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC) which costs $1.9 billion.
- Assisted the company with the professional training program for BIM and developing a team of BIM professionals in order to ensure the company’s growth in future.
- Produced a range of structural drawings that led to the company winning the more design task for a $1.9 billion wastewater network project from Halcrow UK and Abu Dhabi offices.
- Managed a team of 2 Engineers and 5 CAD Technicians in structural design of civil infrastructure projects.
Projects:
1. Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Program (STEP) - Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Performed detailed structural design of 90m high un-propped core of internal flexible structure inside the 65m dia vertical shaft connected with 100m deep tunnel, four storey VFD and switchgear buildings with heavy floor loads and large openings, flow control chamber 18m x 23m in plan and 14m high (inner) for pipe thrust, water hammer and sloshing forces
2. MODODN Dammam 3rd Industrial City - Dammam, KSA
• Performed detailed structural design of wet utility structures associated with sewerage including pumping stations, rising main discharge chambers, rising main washout chambers, twin rising main discharge chamber, and twin rising main air valve chamber
3. Fifth Industrial Square Upgrading Project - Sharjah, UAE
• Performed detailed structural design of substations, tank platform, generator pads and various concrete chambers
4. Pakistan Deep Water Container Port (SAPT) - Karachi, Pakistan
• Performed detailed structural design of port facilities buildings and review technical design drawings/documents of powerhouse building and other allied facilities related to varied structural engineering aspects
Main Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the structural design of load-bearing structures or structural elements
- Using computer software to develop the analytical models of structures and to assess the structural behavior
- Providing input to CAD persons for the development of quality engineering products
- Interfacing with the other disciplines to insure proper co-ordination of the structural aspects of the project
- Reviewing contractors shop drawing submittals and keeping a proper record for future reference
Main Achievements:
- Worked on the one of the largest World Bank funded irrigation water sector improvement project in Pakistan which costs about $200 million
- Shared the design responsibilities on very large and complex irrigation structures such as Fall Structures, Head Regulators

1. USAID Sindh Water Sector Project, Sindh - Pakistan
• Performed detailed structural design of I-Girder prestressed concrete bridges (80 ft.), reinforced concrete bridges, box culverts, and office building
• Performed the structural detailing of hydraulic structures, fall structures, head/cross regulators
2. Rehabilitation and Strengthening of Water Supply Project, Karachi - Pakistan
• Performed detailed structural design of 0.5 mgd ground service reservoir (GSR), various types of chambers, box culverts, anchor blocks, thrust blocks, slab on ground.
3. 36inch Dia MS Truck Mains Pumping Station, Karachi - Pakistan
• Performed detailed design of various types of chambers, box culverts, anchor blocks, thrust blocks, slab on ground.
4. KESC 220MW Combined Cycle Power plant, Karachi - Pakistan
• Reviewed the contractors’ drawings and design calculations for foundation for gas turbines, steam turbine building, electrical control building, foundation of transformers
5. 213 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, Narowal (Punjab) - Pakistan
• Reviewed the structural drawings and design calculations of 132 KV High Voltage Switch Gear, Workshop and Storage, Administration buildings, Unloading Station, Pump house, Tank farm.
