Here at TPI my responsibilities are as follows:
Working as the Technical head in the Energy Meter Division of the company.
Look after and manage the project of conventional metering and advanced metering.
Developing prototypes and drawings for new products/ components.
Identifying the training needs of laboratory staff and plan for on job training / outset training through the coordination with human resource department.
Carrying out necessary activities required for prototype testing and sampling inspections.
To conduct the technical briefing and presentation of the product.
To insure that the product is as per international standards (IEC Standards), WAPDA Specifications amended to date and as per KESC Standards.
Looking after the drawings and list of components for 1-Phase and 3-Phase Static energy
meters and GSM/GPRS energy meters.
To test new samples to be in compliance with the customer’ requirements, and to instigate technical directions for the designer for product’s technical improvement.
Here at EPL my responsibilities are as follows:
• To manage the project of “Advanced Metering Infrastructure” for RF based and GSM based energy meters. It includes coordinating with a team of engineers to develop RF based and GSM based metering setup with AMI devices and software.
• To look after and manage the project of Single Phase and Three Phase Static Energy Meter.
• To insure that the product is as per WAPDA Specifications amended to date & as per IEC Standards.
• To produce and look after all the Schedules of Technical Data.
• To conduct the technical briefing and presentation of the product.
• To manage and test the Samples for tenders and prototype testing of Digital/Static Energy Meters.
• To look after and manage all type of Digital/Static Energy Meters’ Testing. It includes Prototype testing, Type Testing and Sample Testing etc.
• To produce and finalize reports of the tests conducted during inspection.
• To manage and conduct the training workshops for WAPDA staff at customer’s premises and in our company’s premises.
• To test new samples to be in compliance with the customer’ requirements, and to instigate technical directions for the designer for product’s technical improvement.
Following are the responsibilities that I have fulfilled during my stay at SBEEC:
• Planning and successfully implementing all types of energy meters' testing (i.e. Proto Type Testing, Type Testing and Sampling) for Static/Electronics Energy Meters (i.e. Single Phase Electronics, Three Phase TOD / TOU / LT / HT meters.)
Received Punjab Govt Benevolent Fund Scholarship. I completed my internship from COMCEPT Pvt. Ltd. Islamabad.
