• Supervise daily tasks and the associated requirements, e.g.: additions/deletions/Correction, issuance of endorsements, prompt delivery of documents, receipt of claim documents, settlement checks etc…
• Optimise the use of available resources across the unit in carrying out assigned duties, to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and quality.
• Prepare (SLA) Service Level Agreement & circulate it to concerned clients.
• Set a visit plan to insured divisions to explain them the policy rules & regulations.
• Handle the complaints/requirements of allocated key clients effectively and ensure speedy settlement.
• Renew/amend existing policies for clients
• Monitor & approve invoices which are relevant to the daily transactions e.g. (Additions & deletions).
• Undertake general administrative duties.
• Deploy allocated resources for optimal performance and provide feedback to the direct line manager on resource requirements.
• Ensure that all direct reports acquire the competencies for effective performance in their roles, through appropriate training and professional development.
• Ensure proper training to subordinates as well as implementation of procedures.
• Review subordinates’ performance and provide feedback and development.
• Ensure the performance of duties and conduct of staff are in accordance with the departmental/unit business processes and operating procedures.
• Visit assigned potential and current corporate customers.
• Report on progress and performance and escalate the related issues if necessary.
• Unify enrolment requests form (at the renewal period) & send it to the concerned divisions for immediate implementation.
• Discuss and assess clients queries and needs.
• Negotiate policy terms and costs with insurance providers.
• Monitor collecting insurance premiums.
• Advise clients on making claims on their policies.
• Prepare & send renewal notices to the insured divisions & explain the main issues of renewal.
• Revise & send the renewal lists to the insurance co. for issuance and printing.
• Calculate policy inception premiums for each sub-group.
• Prepare & revise final booklet draft.
• Track policy inception invoices sent to clients.
• Submit quotations, close the deal and collect the premiums.
• Manage the customer interface of allocated key clients effectively in order to make them feel satisfied with the service rendered to them.
• Manage the day-to-day operation which includes distributing, managing and monitoring the workload.
• Ensure proper training to subordinates as well as implementation of procedures.
• Devise and improve operational procedures and policies in line with corporate and strategic guidance.
• Develop appropriate strategies and practices in order to improve the premium collection process.
