I shouldered following responsibilities;
1. Worked as Secretary to the Board with responsibilities such as discuss problems in agenda, take meeting minutes and produce report to Chairperson.
2. Represented students of School of MACE as a stakeholder and gave students’ perspective as an input in focus group for Manchester Engineering Campus Development (MECD) project.
3. Participated in focus group conducted to give feedback related to two modules of M.Sc. MOP.
4. Acted as a bridge between students of Management of Projects (MOP) Program and School of MACE administration.
5. Conducted a survey in personal capacity to gain insight into students’ problems, perceptions and suggestions for improvements. Brought few points to the attention of board.
1. Expanded project planning and control knowledge while working on project schedules.
2. Improved communication and organisational skills while working with professionals.
3. Improved technical skills of Civil Engineering by assisting site engineer on day to day operations.
1. Undertook dissertation entitled “Investigating the impact/role of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in delivering construction project success”. 2. Led group of 07 students for the task of strategic risk register, produced portfolio of group tasks and presented to a panel including lecturers and PhD students. 3. Earned distinction in 07 taught modules. 4. Student Representative for M.Sc. Management of Projects (MOP) program in School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering (MACE), University of Manchester.
1. Led a group of 03 in final year group project and stood 3rd in Final Year Open House Project Competition. 2. Led group of 07 students to give presentation for Communication Skills and Technical Report Writing module and achieved highest marks in the class. 3. Worked as an Assistant Class Representative (2011) and arranged educational trip in final year. Overcame the financial deficit in party budget for precedent session, acted as chief organiser for farewell party and also performed as presenter in the party. 4. Operated as an organising member for the inauguration ceremony of National Voluntary Movement (NVM) 2011.
