Sept 2007 - Aug 2011 Bachelor in Mechatronics Engineering, AMA International University, Bahrain Graduation Project: Automated Car Parking System: The idea was to automate the car parking system by the PLC. Devices such as: sensors, fire limit switches, electro-pneumatic valves & cylinders, lights, linear drive motor, and other materials. A special program was written to control the process; the program was then uploaded to the PLC (a FESTO brand PLC), then the devices were connected to the PLC. The Process of the Project: The program which was written and uploaded to the PLC, would automate the process differently in case of which car parking is free or there is a car parked, and to park the car automatically.
