Truck and machinery maintenance and making estimates for repair and maintenance.

• Provide day-to-day technical support to the Operation and Maintenance groups to troubleshoot and fix rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
• Develop the engineering design packages for the new installation and upgrade projects.
• Review project proposals and detailed design packages for new facilities.
• Participate on the testing and commissioning of the new facilities and Turnaround and Inspection (T&I).
• Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
• Analyze system performance and find solutions for saving energy.
• Leads a group of 85 foremen, leadsmen, mechanics and helpers within workshop and other sites.
• Responsible for maintenance and reporting of more than 300 equipment including earth moving machinery, chain dozer, Wheel Loader, Skip steer loader, Excavators, Dump trucks, Trailers, Generators, pickups, buses, asphalt pavers, sweepers, boom trucks, tractor head, passenger cars.
• Performs trouble shooting and diagnostics procedure on vehicles and equipment, record observations and findings during diagnostics run and decide on the correct method of repair, as necessary.
• Ensure that warranties are properly followed up, monitored, and documented, Plan and organize Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) and delegate specific tasks to concerned section/mechanic.
• Hands-on supervision of all workshop activities, especially technical issues, Forecast and order spare parts for specific jobs/special job or for stocks replenishment.
• Supervise and follow up on actual progress of each individual repair job, provide on-the-job training as well as coaching and mentoring to mechanics and helpers.
• Follow up repair order, registering the time taken to complete each task.
• Attend the Weekly Departmental Meeting.
• Responsible for the implementation of 5S and other HSEQ standard within the workshop area.
• Test and approve operators for truck, excavator, loaders, cranes, grader, backhoe, etc.
• Responsible for the maintenance and conditioning of Al-khodari power plant 3 Generator sets of 1775KVA 3406 Caterpillar.

• Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
• Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
• Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

• Directly responsible for the safety of all Mechanical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
• Carrying out all Mechanical Works and equipments installation activities
• Assists HVAC Mechanic in repairing mechanical and electrical systems on heating and cooling equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a variety of heating and cooling equipment.
• Periodically monitors and inspects heating and cooling systems to ensure continued proper operation.
• Picks up and delivers parts required for department needs.
• Investigates heating and air conditioning complaints; performs minor repair.
