Responsible for the whole audit process which includes management of client’s expectations, issues and challenges, fee negotiation, budget estimation based on current resources, establishing audit approach, monitoring and adjusting the progress of team members toward the completion, reviewing work of team members, reviewing the reports prepared by the client, communicating with partner for the job progress/issues, taking full ownership of the jobs until archiving, delivering constructive feedback to team members during the job and upon completion.
Review of monthly managements’ financial statements and analysis of quantitative data including consumption, production, sales and cost of sales.
Quarterly/Monthly funds management and monitoring the daily fund position to effectively control the cash flows.
Working capital management to oversee the optimum level of investment in minimum stocks, receivables and funding from creditors while maintaining the sufficient quick assets of the company
Relationship management with major lenders of the Company and managing cash flows to ensure compliance with repayment schedule while maximum usage of the credit period allowed.
Supervision of fixed assets revaluation exercise and automation of fixed assets register.
Ensuring the insurance adequacy and submission of covenant compliance reports to financial institutions.
Planning and conducting audit of the financial statements in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing (ISA) including the following:
o Conducting research in order to have an in depth knowledge of the client’s industry, business and market to identify the risks at financial statements level.
o Team planning, assignment of tasks within the team, supervision, direction and suggestion to prepare the working papers and audit procedures through the engagement execution.
o Communication with the partner/manager and client with respect to engagement progress, key issues, risks, discussion of reporting issues and management letter.
o Maintaining good relationships with senior management of the client to deliver the engagement expectations and co-ordination with legal consultants, actuaries and IT experts.
Prepared internal control guidelines for evaluation of Internal Control Systemsof various organizations and recommending suitable control procedures to remove deficiencies in internal control system in accordance with the industry best practices, business objectives and key controls as recommended by the COSO framework.
Financial due diligence, assessment of financial projections and preparation of business models for merger and acquisition including sensitivity analysis and verification of underlying assumptions from independent sources.
Forensic Auditingto identify the fraud risk factors, assessment of fraud and recommendation to reduce the risks as per directions of Court of Laws.
Assistance in ‘Quality Control Review’ (QCR)’ conductedby The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan -ICAP.
