• Provide leadership to the Environment Division operations and service delivery team, establishing a strong customer satisfaction in Dubai, Northern Emirates and rest of UAE. The role will ensure, the service team, process and systems are top class bench marked across GCC, if not worldwide. A strong, HSE compliance and excellence, representing a high sustainability and environment image for the Group.
• The role includes assessing and aligning Operations of waste management to existing and future business opportunities to bring cutting edge and cost effective technology, processes and procedures bench marked in the global waste management industry.
• Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services.
• Control the measurement of operations by using KPIs.
• Scheduling, managing and supervision of trucks and staff required to deliver the services that are to be provided as per the contracts
• Organizes and distributes work among the team, and supervises the implementation of work plans.
• Receives complaints and requests for special tasks from seniors, deals with them promptly, and reports feedback.
• Monitors work progress and reports unresolved problems to the project manager.
• Monitors the performance of vehicles.
• Assess subordinates’ performance, determines training needs and suggests disciplinary actions.
• Undertakes necessary studies regarding the improvement of the fleet’s performance.
• Coordinates with the concerned, as per the adopted procedures to reduce the expenditure of budgeted resources during unanticipated slow periods.
• Follow up the original document of the vehicles and permissions.
• Communication and follow up the operation’s needs.
• Select drivers with the appropriate skills and knowledge to do the job.
• Handles minor legal problems in coordination with administration.
• Assesses subordinates’ performance and prepares a ranking system.
• Delegate responsibility for performing the tasks to employees and allow them to use creativity and best practices to accomplish the task. Set guidelines and established policies for them to follow.
• Establish reporting procedures
• Evaluate employees and practices used in the project. Reward good employees through recognition, incentives or promotion. Amend policies and procedures to address efficiencies in future operations
The main purpose is to coordinate, plan, and organize the effective and efficient delivery of quality services. Manage and direct all Fleet (Heavy & Light) operations in solid waste collection and disposal. Work with Counties, Cities Councils on contracts, startup recycling programs, special events, presentations, State diversion programs and customer concerns. Managed all commercial, residential solid waste and recycling routes. Responsible for all resident and business commodities are serviced as scheduled in a safe, efficient and timely manner.,
