Responsible to monitor/supervise the performance of concerned operating unit (300 Met/day Urea Production Plant) and troubleshoot/diagnose problems, meeting local and international
standards in quality, safety and health.
Lead team members as a shift Engineer for safe and smooth plant operation throughout the year.
Executed several plant start-ups, shut-downs and handled Emergencies during shift.
Trained and Skill Certified several staff members to enhance cross functional skills of the team.
Ensure the cooling water chemistry of plant throughout the year and ensure the non-interrupted cooling water supply to all plants of complex.
Strong Expertise of HAZOP, QRA, FMEA as conducted HAZOP study of High pressure loop of Urea. Promote HSE culture across the plant, Initiated safety Initiatives every month to minimize hazards present in plant.
Improved waste water treatment section by replacing batch process of CN dosing with continuous process.This reduces the flourides and phosphates in effluent to controlled limits.
Trained and skill certified various team members to work as a emergency response team during emergencies at plant.
Initiate optimization and energy conservation activities.
Prepare monthly and annual Production Reports. Prepared, updated and reviewed several operating and emergency procedures
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of various incidents at plant.
Conducted Pre Start Up Safety Review (PSSR) of Continuous CN dosing facility and tube well
installation at Utility Plant.
Prepared various checklists and procedures including no load operations of CO2 compressor, ammonia browser and cylinder filling checklists and Continuous CN dosing procedure etc.
Ensured safe testing & filling of ammonia cylinders and filling of ammonia bowsers at plant.
Hands on experience of Centrifugal Compressors, Startup shut down and troubleshooting in compressors.
Sound understanding of steam turbine having induction, extraction and condensation stages in it.
Sound understanding of Absorption and Compression Chillers.
Understanding of Heat Exchangers, Different methods of improving efficiencies of heat exchangers like tapproge method and back washing techniques.
Well Known with Honeywell TDC 3000 DCS Architecture.
Good Understanding of Control Valves, their parts and troubleshooting.
Participated in various shut downs, well known with equipment handover.
Monitor and ensure the logging of all critical/controlling Parameters on DCS & field as well.
To ensure safe and smooth operation of the plant and to achieve production targets and to ensure safe execution of Jobs.
Perform Flushing, Blowing and Leakages Test Activities.
Supervise the bagging and dispatching of finish product.
Generate daily production reports and maintain inventory of plant.
