1. Design of Infrastructure for Ministry of Housing Projects
Studies, Design & Supervision of Housing Projects in Eastern Region (7 sites)

Ministry of Housing has initiated Planning, Design & Execution of different housing projects in Eastern Regions of Dammam. Planning and design of infrastructure seven sites viz. Hafar Al Batan, Al-Ahsa, Khafji, Dahiyatal Hajar, Buqyaq, Nauyriyah, Qaryatal Ulya have been started.

My job responsibilities are Design of Storm Drainage System of various Ministry of Housing Projects mainly Al-Khafji (300 Hectares), Hafar Al Batin (700 Hectares), Al-Ahsa Omran (600 Hectares), and Dahiyat Al Hagar (240 Hectares). Scope of work includes Site Assessment, Concept Design, Detailed Design and Preparation of Tender Documents. I am also taking active part in Design Review Process in respect of several submission received from our Sub Consultants like Misr Consult, Senior Consult and Saudconsult India Office.​
2. Rayadah Housing Complex, Jeddah
Client: RIC/KEO, Jeddah

Rayadah Investment Company (RIC) intends to develop a distinctive and environment friendly large housing complex in Jeddah with the name “Al Rayadah Development” The Proposed development covers an area of about 263 hectors and is situated in the South Ubhor district between the Jeddah Airport and Sharm Ubhor.

I have been taking active part in the design of Storm Drainage System of Al-Rayadah Housing Development. A storm drainage pumping station of 6 m3/sec is proposed to pump the storm water to sea using 2000mm diameter forcemain. A balance between the storm inflows for a 10 years rainfall, available storage volumes and pumped flow is made using SCS hydrograph method while extra capacity is available by using two standby pumps, if required for stronger rainfalls.

3. King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Medical City, Bahrain
Client: The Arabian Gulf University (AGU)
Reviewer: Sanitary Engineering Planning and projects Directorate (SEPPD) Ministry of works

The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) intends to construct a Medical City in the Southern Governorate of Kingdom of Bahrain. The goal of this Project is to provide the medical students of Bahrain with the same level of education applied in International Medical Universities around the World.
Saudi Consulting being a lead Consultant will be responsible for full design of the Academic Medical Complex (AMC) including associated roads and infrastructure up to Issue for Construction Contract Documents.
Currently I am working on Schematic Design of 100 hectares project with regards to Storm Drainage System. Scope of work includes Planning and Detailed Design of Proposed Channels, Box Culverts and piping Systems. Different disposal method has been proposed for safe disposal of storm water in this project including lift station and detention ponds.

4. ‘FAL’ Industrial City Development
Client/Owner: FAL Industrial City Co. Ltd.
Approving Authority: MODON Saudi Industrial Property Authority

FAL has chosen SAUDCONSULT to participate in this project for infrastructure design of the master plan for these central regions, to be developed into the new high quality standard that will attract both governmental and public sectors activities to these industrial cities.
FAL Industrial City is located on Al Kharj Road 40Km south of Riyadh City. The Total area of the Project Site is approximately 18.7 Km2.​
Currently I am working on Detailed Design of storm drainage system which consists of piping and storm swales. Wadi tributary passing thru proposed site disposing to ‘WADI SUALI’ is re-routed and considered main outfall for storm drainage system.
5. King Abdullah Economic City KAEC Industrial Valley 1A- Detailed Design Upgrade
Owner: Emaar, the Economic City

Project is known as Industrial Valley 1A - Detailed Design Upgrade forming part of King Abdullah Economic City, near Rabigh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This site lies on a natural flood plain at a key interface between the Red Sea and regional wadi catchments that discharge runoff from inland mountainous terrain. This creates a unique and environmentally sensitive setting for KAEC which has formed the basis for sitewide stormwater management and grading strategy for the city.
My responsibilities are to evaluate adequacy of ROW including existing swale with respect to 1:100 year +20% climate change and to propose workable solution keeping the cost to a minimum. I need to present a drainage solution as there are many comments regarding the maintenance issues over the existing swales.

Senior Drainage Engineer at National Engineering Services, Pakistan (NESPAK)

Projects:
▪ Worked on “Construction of Lakhudair Landfill Site, Lahore”, Scope of work includes preparation of Engineer’s Estimate, Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications. Area of landfill site is about 80 hectors and total cost of this project is Rs.3 billion.
▪ Worked on Planning and Drainage Design of “Lahore Ring Road (Southern Loop)”. Scope of work includes preparation of PC-I, Detailed Design, BOQ, Engineer’s Estimates, Tender Documents, Technical Specifications and Construction Drawings.

▪ Worked on “Design of Drainage System of Underpass at Abdullahpur Chowk, Faisalabad”. Scope of work includes preparation of PC-I, Tender Documents and Construction Drawings. A Combined Pumping Station has been proposed for both Underpasses along the Canal.
▪ Worked on “Design of Drainage System of Flyover at Gujranwala”. The scope of services included preparation of Engineer’s Estimates and Construction Drawings.

▪ Worked on Planning and Drainage Design of “Construction of vehicular underpass at Kalma Chowk”, this underpass is designed for every kind of traffic and deepest underpass in Lahore having clear height of 6.3m. The Pumping Station has been made within the underpass to cater for 24 cusecs of storm water flow.
▪ Worked on Planning and Drainage Design of “Construction of vehicular underpass at Model Town Mor”, sinking well arrangement has been proposed to cater for Storm Water Drainage.
▪ As Design Engineer responsible for planning and detailed designing of storm water drainage system, preparation of PC-I, bill of quantities, engineers’ cost estimates, tender drawings & specifications and construction drawings for “Lahore Ring Road Project”. The project comprises of a combination of seventeen (17) packages of different categories such as underpasses, flyovers and interchanges at various locations of Lahore Ring Road.

▪ As Design Engineer worked on design of storm water drainage system, preparation of PC-I, specifications and construction drawings for “Flyover at Kalma Chowk, Lahore”. The drainage system of the project area is carried through a Main Drain (Design Flow of 110 cusec) that runs along Ferozepur Road and finally disposed off into Sattu Katla Drain.

▪ As Design Engineer worked on design of storm water drainage system, preparation of PC-I, specifications and construction drawings for “Flyover at Canal Crossing, Lahore”.

▪ Worked on “Restoration of Original Cross Section of 40 ft. of Sattukatla Drain from Ferozepur Road to PECO Road Bridge”. Scope of services included Hydraulic Design of Rehabilitated Drain, Construction Drawings of Retaining Walls, Bridges and PC-I.

▪ As Design Engineer worked on “Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Earthquake Affected Areas”. The Scope of work includes Rehabilitation of Water Treatment Plant at Bani Mahl Dara, Bagh and Master Planning of Water Supply of Rawalakot City.

▪ As Design Engineer worked on design of “Comprehensive Sewerage And Drainage Scheme Of South Lahore” The project can be bifurcated in to the following;

1. Design of Proposed Sewerage and Drainage Systems along Raiwind Road
2. Drainage System along M M Alam Road.
3. Drainage System along Mader e Millet Road
