• Ensuring that any environmental incidents are reported to the regulators on a timely manner.
• Ensuring that all environmental-related permits are at place and valid.
• Ensuring that the EPC contractor and its subcontractors are complying with the relevant national and international environmental and social laws, standards, and regulations and in compliance with the CEMP.
• Reviewing the qualifications of the environmental personnel appointed by both EPC contractors and their subcontractors and ensure they have the right qualifications to complete their work appropriately.
