To ensure the timely deployment of People as per their competencies and strengths, developing plans and assuring the competencies of team as per agreed plan with Production Manager (proper training including equipment, safety procedures, hygiene). Ensure strict compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all personnel within the shift.
•To ensure proper documentation of KPI(Key Performance Indicator) & OEE (Operational Equipment Efficiency) on a daily basis and signing Log sheets, Efficiency sheets, Operation monitoring sheets, Product return sheets & Wastage sheets.
•Achieve full compliance to FSMS (Food Safety Management System), GMP & 5 S systems.
•Training of filling machine & plant operators regarding efficient operation, Safety hazards with pre-cautionary measures, Emergency handling Hygiene & GMP.
•Planning and conducting weekly meetings with operators & Foremen for points needed as per preventative maintenance plans and getting their feedback for continual improvement.
•Ensuring all machines remain in running condition by planning for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual preventative maintenance and highlighting them to Maintenance Manager.
•Participating and representing Manufacturing Team in ISO 22000-2005 and ensuring full compliance to food safety management, hygiene systems & 5 S.
•Daily Coordination and follow-ups with Tetra-Pak, UHT and processing maintenance staff regarding proper & quick rectification of technical issues & TPMS of machines Maintenance team to resolve issues on the spot and ensuring efficient production processes with minimum breakdown.
•Achieve material utilization, labor utilization, fixed, variable costs, and energy utilization as per Nadec Standard
•Planning and achieving Daily Production Targets in terms of schedule, output, quality, hygiene, cost and ensuring quality of products meets the strict Nadec Standards.
•Achieving Manufacturing KPIs with minimum labor unrest
•Conducting regular internal audits along with Quality Team ensuring compliance as per Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000) in UHT Factory.
•Participating of Daily operational review meeting and highlighting major issues.
•Participating in safety related incident, investigating and preparing reports.
•Ensure regular review and update of thermal processing CCPs and system validation as necessary.
•Prepared SOP (Standard operating procedures) for 4 Sterilizers, 7 Aseptic Fillers (Bulk and Packs), 6 Aseptic Tank Operations, CIP of Tatrapak and APV Units & 3 Pasteurizers.
•Participating in Document Control and ensure that formal change procedure is followed when implementing changes.
•Training, Coaching and refreshing operators of filling machine, UHT plant, CIP and Processing operators regarding efficient operation, Safety hazards with pre-cautionary measures ensuring proper follow up for process parameters & their standard ranges along with their set points.
•Inspection/ Verification of pasteurizers, sterilizers and aseptic filling machines for food safety related issues
•Verification of CIP for critical items in the process
•Documenting and advising on necessary improvement points on how to minimize losses.
•Participating in ISO 22000-2005 and ISO 9001-2008 audits and its implementation.
•Investigating market complaints/ NCR’s/ internal issues for Root Cause and Corrective actions.
•Training for operators on quality and food safety.
•Discuss with relevant teams for implementation of preventive and corrective actions for the non-conformances
•Commissioning, calibration and validation of new process.
•Daily records and documentation verification
•KPI updating and drafting new SOP’s/ revising existing ones.
