OPERATIONS ENGINEER
Worked as Shift Engineer at in Operations department and responsibilities included:
• Hands on operating experience of major operating units of caustic sodaplanti.e. Udhe Nora &AKCC MembraneElectrolyzers, caustic Evaporation & Solidification, HCL furnaces, Bleaching Powder & Ammonium Chloride plants for safe and smooth operations including all maintenance activities.
• Ensured compliance of safety, health and environment standards and legislation on plant.
• Ensured effective monitoring and control of process parameters to run the units safe, efficient and optimum.
• Co-ordination with maintenance for keeping the on-going mechanical integrity of the plant, facilities reliability and to properly organize preventive maintenance and limit corrective actions.
• Performed Test-runs of different plant units to check the performance, reviewed operating data, analyzed variances and implemented corrective actions.
• Preparation of job packages for annual turnaround and Startup and Shutdown planning.
• Development of standard operating procedures and training of operations team.
