Currently, I am working as an Assistant Engineer on a combined cycle power plant where I am responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of GE Jenbachers gas engines, Boilers, Steam turbines, and a DCS-based complete HRSG System.
My responsibilities include continuous, reliable, and safe operations. Resolving issues related to the operation and actively handling and managing troubleshooting with the team, Authorized designated Persons, and Carrying out isolations for maintenances.
• Responsibility for safe Operation of Steam Turbines, HRSG Boilers, Water Treatment Plant, Gas, engines as per SOPs.
• Continuous reliable operation of power plant equipment and auxiliary through SOP.
• Carry out isolations on Engines and perform LOTO on System.
• Ability to carry out basic troubleshooting and resolve issues effectively.
• Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and P&ID’s.
• Knowledge about SCADA controlling system, Distribution controlling system DCS and PLC controlling system and desktop operation, etc.
• Handling troubleshooting of feeders & shutdown and restore the power after total shutdown through standard site operation SSO.
• Performed work as a Designated Person (DP) for Isolation of equipment GVCB, GCB, Engines, Boilers, Air compressors, RO plant, and all power plant equipment.
• Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations.
• Identify abnormal equipment operations.
• Good knowledge about data history, trends check and save the records.
• Will write routine reports, solve practical problems, and clearly communicate tasks and needs, and training of other personal.
• Knowledge about HSEQ handling fire and safety fire extinguishers.
• Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Ability to understand and comply with company policies and operating procedures
• Continuously seek process improvement to save cost and increase efficiency.
• Keeps logs, records data, and verbally communicates plant conditions.
• Utilizes SAP/PM system for equipment history and verification of work performed.
• Ability to understanding plant and equipment systems and processes.
• Good knowledge about plant emergency response plans (ERP) and accident prevention plants (APP).

◈ Knowledge about SCADA control and distribution system.DCS and PLC controling system and desktop operation etc.
◈ Handling trouble shooting of feeders & shutdown also operate waste heat recovery boilers gas fired boilers, HFO seprator lube oil seprator booster module gas compressor air compressor cooling tower pumps engine rutine maintenance errection and isolate of engines etc.
◈ Maintain load management making fuel and energy reports.
◈ Handling fire and safety fire extinguisher.
◈ Responsibility of save mode operation of engines.
◈ Ability to continues and save operations of gas, diesel, HFO fuel supply and distribution system including various storage tanks.
◈ Knowledge about SCADA controlling system. Distribution controlling system DCS and PLC controlling system and desktop operation etc.
◈ Handling trouble shooting of feeders & shutdown and restore the power after total shutdown through standard site operation SSO.
◈ Coordinate with other department to decide power requirement and distribution.
◈ Also operate waste heat recovery boilers gas fired boilers, HFO purifiers, lube oil purifiers booster module gas compressor air compressor cooling tower pumps engine routine maintenance errection and isolate of engines etc.
◈ Maintain load management prepare daily, weekly, and monthly generation distribution and fuel energy consumption reports.
◈ Good knowledge about data capture history and trends check and save the record..
◈ Handling fire and safety fire extinguisher.
