Regional Marine Certifier in MESA (Pakistan, UAE & Oman)
• Handled more than 200 marine vessels / ships and possess Un-restricted Shore Officer Certification for Shell and authorized to handle ships at any of the Shell Terminals/Ports across the world, specially UAE, Oman and Pakistan Terminals.
• Responsible for Training and Competence development of Shell staff in Marine Operations and Handling Ship to Shore activities in-line with Shell Global guidelines and ISGOTT.
• Authorized assessor and certifier for a total of 35 Marine Shore Officers in Pakistan, UAE and Oman.
• Focal point for marine reviews and audits in Shell Pakistan.

• Management of terminal receipt operations of AGO, MOGAS, Jet A-1, JP-8, Furnace Oil, HOBC, Aviation Gasoline & Kerosene Oil from local refineries as well as from the Marine Vessels.
• Ensuring Product Quality at Terminal
• Safe and Efficient storage of fuels in Terminal Tanks
Terminal Loss/Gain Management.
• Focal point for Terminal Stock Reconciliation & Fuel Loss/Gain management of 28 tanks having 08 different products with a combined operational storage of 103 Mn. Ltrs and delivering an average monthly throughput of 150+ Mn. Ltrs
Delivery of Terminal Audits/Assurances/Operational Excellence
• One of the focal points for PK - Operational Excellence Delivery.
• Successfully delivered various Shell Global Terminal Audits & LOD2/3 assurances, i.e. SMBR (Shell Marine Business Review), MPM (Maritime Process Model), HSSE CF (HSSE Control Framework), DOR (Distribution Operations Review), TIC (Terminal In Control Audit), Aviation Audit, HM (Hydrocarbon Management) Audit, etc
Focal Point - FLBM (Front Line Barrier Management) Program for Pakistan
• Focal Point of delivery, training and assessment of Shell’s Global Frontline Barrier Management (FLBM) program for staff involved in Product Handling Vessel, Pipeline and Terminal Emergency Response in Pakistan
Focal Point - Terminal DGAME (Distribution Global Asset Management & Excellence)
• Focal Point for DGAME & SCEs (Safety Critical Equipment) at Terminal
• Planning, execution and monitoring projects under CAPEX and OPEX
• Ensuring timely delivery of critical assets’ Inspections, e.g. off-stream inspection of tanks per API570, Integrity Assessment and LRUT of pipelines
Focal Point - Terminal HSSE Working Group Committee for Terminal
• Organizing Terminal’s Monthly HSSE Working Group Meeting. Aligning Terminal’s Safety Performance with Goals & KPIs in HSSE Working Plan. Identify and assess Areas of Key Potential Incidents and their associated action Items and ensure that they are tracked for earliest closure.
Lead Permit-to-Work Authorizer/Fire Fighter/First Aider
• Authorized Lead Permit to Work Issuer at Terminal for operations involving Hot Work, Gas Freeing, Confined Space Entry, Radiography, Isolation, etc.
• Authorized & Trained Fire Fighter and First Aider at Terminal
Super User - GSAP and Global Ice Box
• Providing 1st Level Business Continuity Support at Terminal for issues related to GSAP and its Terminal CAP Global Ice Box.
A) Procurement of Materials and Services for Construction, M&R / Rehabilitation Works:
●Efficiently executing the procurement cycle (as per policies and procedures) on Purchase Requisitions from following functional departments:
·Operations
·Construction & Retail Facilities
·Lubricants & Chemicals
·Aviation & Marine
·LPG
●Handling the entire process of Cost Analysis, Tendering & Comparative Analysis of bids.
●Negotiation with vendors / contractors & Coordinating with the Indenting departments.
●Issuance of Service Orders, Purchase Orders and subsequent Change Orders as and when required by creating them on SAP.
●Parking of Security deposits in SAP and coordinating with AP section for refund of security at closing of contracts.
B) Pre-Qualification of Contractors:
●Handling the entire process of Pre-qualification that involves formulating the Criterion for the subject job and co-ordination with the concerned departments & functional departments (like HSE) & subsequent meetings with the parties (Contractors / Suppliers) and/or relevant surveys.
●Pre-qualifications Completed:
. Prequalification of Suppliers /Contractors for Supply, Installation & Commissioning of CCTV System at Lube Manufacturing Plant, Korangi.
. Prequalification of Contractors / Suppliers for supply, testing and installation of 30KVA DG Sets, Single & Twin Delivery Electronic Dispensing Units, Aluminum Composite Material, Air Compressors and Horizontal Steel Storage Tanks for PSO’s New Vision Retail Outlets.
. Prequalification of EPC Contractors for setting up LPG Auto Gas Stations on ‘Turn Key’ basis all over Pakistan.
. Prequalification of Contractors for carrying out Cleaning & Signage and Electrical Maintenance Works at PSO’s New Vision Retail Outlets all over Pakistan
. Prequalification of Consultants-cum-Suppliers of Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems.
Successfully completed a 40 days internship at National Refinery Pvt. Ltd. and worked as a support engineer in different sections such as Power Generation Unit, Instrumentation Department, Lube Refinery, Fuel Refinery, Utilities, etc.
