Key Responsibilities:
• Oversaw the complete Operations/Functions of Warehousing / Inventory Management.
• Organizing & execution of outbound supplies to interiors, Intercompany, Izz, Salalah
Depot, showrooms & Walk - in - customers.
• Ensure that all incoming shipments & out going Stocks are documented & uploaded in the system accordingly.

• Training, motivation & developing Teamwork sprit among the Staff ( Direct & Indirect) for attaining optimum performance.
• Handling of Inventory worth 10 Million $. With annual Turnover worth 60 Million $.
• Controlling losses, dead stock, over stocking and optimum utilization of warehouse
Space, Manpower, Planning of Vehicles & other valuable resources of the organization.
• Maintaining stacking of material & housekeeping as per warehousing norms.
• Scrutinizing the stocks position to maintaining minimum Inventory level at warehouse.
• Periodic reviewing transportation costs & providing alternative cost saving solutions.
• Organize and supervise annual & periodical perpetual stock count and liaise with internal
& external auditors for the reconciliation of the same.
• Managing Inbound and outbound logistics operations (Adherence to schedules)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLING AS WAREHOUSING & Distribution / INVENTORY MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL:
Warehouse Management:
▫ Generation & Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for receiving, dispatch, picking, storing and transportation in the warehouse and trained team members for maintaining & compliance with these procedures
▫ Ensuring good housekeeping so that the material preservation, codification, receipt, storing and dispatch can be done smoothly.
▫ Developed an ability to eliminate out-of-stock situations while minimizing the carrying cost of inventory.
▫ Achieved 99% accuracy in stock positions & restricted frauds and pilferage.
▫ Insurance survey of shipments to claim against damaged material.
▫ Ensured on time availability of material, follow up with suppliers on goods delivery; handle all queries and relevant complaints.
▫ Maximized quality control and to minimize damage through development of state-of-the-art material handling and warehousing techniques.
▫ Ensured the accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding the operations
▫ Processing of approved disposal & write off requests.
▫ Prepared damaged goods reports and communicated the same to the suppliers as well as coordinated with the insurance companies.
▫ Adoption of new Techniques & systems developments to achieve maximum benefits with the available resources.
▫ Ensuring the availability of all means of communication and other infrastructure in the warehouse.
Man Management:
▫ Trained warehouse staff in different function of the warehouse like receiving, dispatch, picking, storing, space utilization, binning and equipment management.
▫ Ensured availability of enough man power for quick execution of customer order by making duty roaster and efficient job planning.
▫ Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks.
▫ Building of an energetic Team work Sprit between the employees. Improving the skills of individuals by providing them the relevant job knowledge & sharing the experiences for the better out come.
Fleet Management:
▫ Prepare and monitor Delivery schedule as per requirement of Stores/Customers and available fleet.
Route/Load planning and identify the new routes to reduce cost and time saving.
▫ Ensuring availability of the vehicle for the quick and smooth distribution of the material.
▫ Procurement of new vehicles/ material handling equipment, maintenance/repair schedule.
Safety and security:
▫ Ensuring all fire protection equipments like sprinklers, hose reel, fire alarm and fire extinguisher are available in the warehouse in working order.
▫ Installation of theft and burglary alarm in the warehouse.
▫ Implementation & monitoring the HSEQ standards & procedures in routine operations for the warehouse safety & security.
Cost Reduction:
▫ Significantly reducing the delivery cost by combining and consolidating the deliveries reroute.
▫ Minimizing operation expenses by reducing inventory levels and cycle time.
