I work as Technical lead in projects related to network and security along providing consultancy for system and cloud adoption. My role is varied across designing, reviewing, and evaluating proposed designs, auditing, governance and acting as bridge between various project’s technical resources. Dealing with vendors, setting up PoCs and Pilots, communicating with stakeholders, preparing as build documentation and configurations. Below are some regular activities I perform or have delivered successfully.
Meeting stakeholders to understand business requirements and designing solutions to meet requirements based upon business and technology roadmaps.
Keeping in touch with vendors and actively monitors upcoming technologies, organise evaluations for competitive analysis and complex technical requirements.
Prepare RFTs and RFQs, evaluate responses and organise PoCs for technical evaluations, help finalising SoWs and work closely with vendors during different projects phases, also helping with conflict and vendor management.
Evaluate HLD and LLD proposals and provide feedback and technical recommendations to vendors based upon local knowledge gathered by communicating to all stakeholders.
Working closely with ERB to reinforce direction and guidance based upon evaluations of new technologies to improve processes and governance.
Taking ownership of infrastructure portfolio and documentation, interact with PMO to evaluate impacts and seamless integrations between all services.
Organise as-build technical documentation, hand-over training and knowledge transfer to operational teams in related to latest technology projects.
Successfully migrated technology for University’s network infrastructure from Cisco & Juniper to HPE, Aruba and Ruckus, as a technical lead I was managing multiple teams involved in migrating 55, 000+ nodes network across 10 locations.
Successfully migrated NexGen Firewall solution from Juniper to Palo Alto & SonicWALL with implementation of latest Data Centre technologies.
Prepared HLD and LLD for 3 new vertical campuses infrastructure and supervised all implementation according to the latest competitive technology offering.
