• Monitor the NGOs field activities regularly and report to the
Monitoring Coordinator and/or Project Manager on defined
formats/indicators
• Conduct physical monitoring visits to the field interventions and
share findings.
• Support the Monitoring Coordinator in collecting data on project
activities as per the M&E mechanism developed and other
prescribed formats.
• Maintain a database of the assigned NGOs to track their field
progress on a regular basis.
• Closely examine quantitative and qualitative data quality indicators
to ensure that any discrepancies or issues are highlighted and
addressed promptly.
• Regularly coordinate with the Monitoring Coordinator and Project
Manager to check align and priorities day-to-day activities.
• Sort and clean the collected data before submission to the Khost
office and ensure that data is stored in such a manner that it can be
accessed easily whenever needed.
• Any other task assigned by the supervisors.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Support the M&E & MIS Manager in preparing the MIS plan, data
collection tools and data analysis system
• Ensure the project MIS system is updated and provided with
accurate information and reports on a regular basis.
• Ensure regular data collection of the project, as well as ensure
quality of the data by random verification validation and cross
checking
• Establish/support the data and information record keeping system
and proper documentations of the project beneficiaries, indicator
and output based information.
• Support the M&E&MIS manager in preparing beneficiary profiles and
contact details and upload to the MIS system
• Make sure the MIS database is regularly updated with data accuracy,
consistency and produce monthly, quarterly and need base reports.
• Assist the line supervisors in preparing project progress reports,
donor reports, country updates, stakeholder reports and BI-MIS
datasheets
• Conduct regular fields visits as per plan, collect quality, accurate
and precise data, compile and aggregate MIS data and submit to the
MIS system in timely manner
• Prepare and submit the summary and analysis report as per project
activities to M&E&MIS Manager/provincial manager for their
quarterly report writing at the end of each month/quarter.
• Regular follow up and provide constructive feedback to project team
at the field levels to improve the project implementation, data
collection, management and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity, quality of products as well as delivery to the
beneficiaries.
• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect,
harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmers goals on
safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support,
guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe
working environment.
• Comply with the BRAC data and information protection and
dissemination policy
• Attend coordination meetings with project staff and other
stakeholders and come up with proposals that can support the
efficient delivery of services for the target community.
• Comply with the BRAC MIS SOPs and guidelines
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect,

safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support,
guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe
working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy
among team members and ensure the implementation of
safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Develop program quality standards for various interventions at the
program and project level, in collaboration with Program and ensure
implementation of these standards across the operations area.
• In line with the M&E framework and program quality standard,
design all relevant tools e.g. questionnaire/format, checklist etc.
• Develop annual implementation plan for Monitoring and Evaluation
and conduct regular monitoring field visits.
• Develop data entry template using MS excel or any other suitable
software and ensure quality/error free data entry using the software
• Analyze the data and generate reports
• Share reports with all relevant stakeholder and accumulate feedback
to improve the program quality as required
• Follow up with project/program managers to ensure recommended
action, as a finding of monitoring, is implemented and programme
quality improved.
• Train staff on data collection and interview skills theoretical sessions
and practical exercises in real field situation.
• Supervise data collection/interview to ensure authentic information
is collected.
• Follow up to ensure implementation of recommendation from the
assessment by the respective teams.
• Promote a culture of learning across the program and projects teams
with particular emphasis to programme quality, policy analysis and
advocacy.
• Ensure new analysis and information is constantly available.
• Ensure that lessons learned are properly documented and are
incorporated into programme implementation and design.
• Regularly produce and report on best practices and case studies.
• Maintain an archive for all documents, reports and information and
keep updating the archive in a regular fashion and ensure that all
staff and appropriate stakeholder can access any information/report
on demand round the year.
• Ensure that accountability to right holders/project participants
becomes a core element and success indicator for all program and
project activities.
• Integrate accountability to right holders/participants through
supporting the establishment of feedback mechanisms and
producing information materials in a way which mainstreams
accountability across all programs and projects.
• Design and develop effective accountability mechanisms (tools,
formats, procedures) and ensure that complaint and feedback
database is updated and analyzed regularly.
• Contribute to project/programme designing through conducting need
assessment, developing problem tree and solution trees, developing
result framework etc. as and when needed.
• Contribute to staff capacity building in understanding theory of
changes, result framework and/or logical frameworks and
interventions are implemented to achieve the anticipated results
• Builds and maintains effective relationships, with their team,
colleagues, partners and supporters and external stakeholders

• Understand the CLEAR project indicators, outputs, outcomes and
the ultimate results
• Support the project staff in conducting Need Assessments (NA),
make sure the eligible project participants selected, and contribute
to the NA report.
• Support and follow the M&E plan and ensure regular data collection
of the project, as well as ensure quality of the data by random
verification, validation and cross checking
• Provide capacity building to the field staff to understand the
ultimate results of the project.
• Conduct regular field visits to the project sites (province capital,
districts, villages, CDCs) and collect quality, accurate and precise
data using the standard M&E tools, enter it to the M&E digitized
systems.
• Coordinate with the project staff over planning and monitoring
activities that will take place as per project implementation plans
• Consolidate the monitoring findings and debrief the implementation
staff over areas of improvement rigorously.
• Reporting of critical findings through the existing M&E mechanisms
on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Support the donor and other stakeholders during monitoring visits
as per instructions of provincial managers and M&E department
• Support the implementation managers through feedback obtained
from beneficiary community.
• Analyze the M&E data and report on project outputs and outcomes
on periodic basis.
• Ensure accountability at all levels of implementation including
communication of complaints and response reciprocally between
project and beneficiary community.
• Ensure data integrity, validity, and quality of products as well as
delivery to the beneficiaries.
• Contribute to and support the M&E and MIS Manager on period
project progress reports and reports to the donor
• Carry out safeguarding monitoring at all levels of project as per
devised safeguarding plan for the project
• Report on persistent issues through the current special reporting
mechanism of M&E department.
• Comply with the IRC M&E SOPs and guidelines
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of IRC safeguarding policy
among team members and ensure the implementation of
safeguarding standards in every course of action.
